Roberts has been excellent so far. (Sims too).

MCcullough needs to learn how to throw spirals both ways...it's really not that hard. Milford looks too slow. Moga has looked strong.

He decides? I think the ball hits his foot and the foot plays roulette with where it goes

Execution is off but at least we're digging in and playing with enthusiasm.

Great metres from Blair and Sims post contact. Thaiday and Gillett have been running hard and the bench hasn't been bad either.

Considering one of the biggest question marks we had is the ability to compete up front, that's encouraging.

attack is messy but not worried yet. its only round 1 takes a bit to gel and get slick passes. i was worried at start of game the boys looked not interested in defence at all very sluggish.

but they some how managed to get into the game and dare i say looked like they got on top of the sharks forwards

There was actually a point at about the 30 minute mark where McGuire pushed Macca out of the way at dummy half, guess he was sick of slow and inaccurate service. Worst half I've seen from McCullough in a long time.

Hunt has been woeful, but he often plays better in the 2nd half, for our sake I hope he does, this isn't over.

Blair looks good playing at a heavier weight too. Ben hunt still goes MIA, after 4 years as starting half back maybe it's just his thing.

Moga is doing ok. Tbh, as others have said, we are very hot and cold. Our halves have been very poor .
