A decent event for Brisbane this coming Sunday at Suncorp Stadium. The biggest boxing bout in Australia since Fenech vs. Nelson in 1992 for mine.

Horn looks to be in deep water though against Pacquiao, who showed he is still a formidable boxer (despite his age - 38) with wins over Tim Bradley and Jessie Vargas last year.

Wouldn't it be great for Horn to bring it !
Not a huge chance, but I'll certainly be cheering for the guy.

I'll be cheering for Horn - Pacquaio hasn't gotten better with age, Horn has a fair chance if he can avoid getting into a slugfest early on, he'll need to be looking to go at least into the 8th to start getting the better of him.

65-35/70-30 is what I rate his chances (on the lower end of the %)

(I also have a 35 dollar bonus bet riding on his ass so, come on son)

I'm sure Horn will give it a red hot crack, but Pacquiao's experience will win it for him.

He will outsmart him and outbox him. But I do think Horn's image will sky rocket after this fight. He'll make a real name for himself.

If he doesn't get embarrassed, of course.

Yep. It's a huge opportunity for Horn to have a decent career in boxing. This fight is being shown live on ESPN's main channel in the United States. Because it is on free over there and not PPV there will be a lot of people watching this fight even though Horn isn't viewed as a good opponent in the US. Horn just has to give a decent performance and he will make a lot of fans over night.

Well fought, no way he won though lol. I thought it was relatively close, but Pacquiao was so much better as a whole.

lol this is the way it goes in such a corrupt sport. Now everybody gets to make twice as much on the rematch.

Reading the live comments on fox sports ... their commentators had Horn in front for the first 7 rounds before pacman come home strong

He was certainly the more damaging of the two fighters and I thought Pacquio finished in better shape, physically. I wouldn't have argued if the decision had of gone the Filipinos way.

That said, congrats to the new champion and to the prosperity from a new era of Australian boxing.

I thought Horn's last 2 rounds were pretty strong given where he was just prior to that.

Little surprised at those stats. I thought Horn was right there.

Horn dominated the first 8 rounds
That's where he won it
If pacman doesn't bludge for the first 8 then he wins
