I think the Rorters pack dictates Baker on the bench. If we don’t dominate them early they’ll make us pay. I expect Haas and Paddy to go full throttle for the first 30 minutes and challenge the Rorters to come with us. We’ll definitely need another forward for sure. Baker’s quick ptbs will be exactly what we need when he comes on. Willison will be the one with the license to wreak havoc.

Different scenario. If it is from a kick you don't need to pick it up, you can simply force it. If you already have the ball in your hands, you can't drop it without regripping/holding/catching the ball again before it hits the ground or an opponent to negate the knock on.

To be up 30 something points with 15 to go and leave both Reynolds and Walsh on was borderline negligent. Kevvie has done a lot of things right and become a very good coach, but he’s still absolutely clueless about stuff like this. He needs to be more aware, or the assistant coach should be flagging it. Ordinary display but good result. Arey really good, Reece rocks and diamonds. The rest of them were pretty solid but i thought Carrigan and Payno stood up well. Still find it very worrying how loose we get in defence when Patty goes on. None of our other forwards seem to take control and lead them when he is off.
