I think you're thinking of another player, because Kodi Nikorima did quite well under the high ball at fullback.

He saved our ass against the Panthers stopping Edwards from scoring who is taller than him.

He was only exposed in that regard when he was forced to play wing against the Storm. He's been excellent at fullback.

So you don't think he'll be exposed under the high ball at fullback and won't have any dramas defending if someone breaks the line?

Nope. He handled it well when filling in for Boyd, and he's no worse than 80% of fullbacks in regards to defence. He's all heart so he puts his body on the line, which is all you can ask for.

Fair enough mate. I can't see Boyd being moved to be honest, but if Nik dose get put to fullback I hope he proves me wrong
 
Watching a few games from this season, Kniko is such a fantastic little player. I say give him the 7 but he needs some quality D around him, move Roberts to left centre and put Bird on the right with Gillette. Both quality defenders and always on to help with defence, Kahu is great too.

He didn't do too badly in the line. Didn't get exposed as much as Milford I thought.. I'd say all he needs is a preseason in the role. Give him that first
 
Bench utility in Bronco colours or HB for the North's Devils. I think it's fairly evident to everyone that he isn't capable of anything greater than this.

You do know he is pretty much a certainty to start the season as the Broncos halfback don't you?
 
I would leave him at half back. But I get the feeling Benny will end up playing him on the bench and Bird will play as the right sided play maker.
