Guy apparently requires double knee reconstructions according to fox sports. That’ll make it 4 on the left and 1 on the right. He’s been impressive to recover from first 3 but how do you recover from 5!

Feel sorry for the bloke but wished we never signed him and glad we let Newcastle pay overs. Guy is a walking injury and sorry but just not that bright on the field. All he did was take up a spot someone else could have developed into.

It’s a lesson not to buy or play players you don’t actually want or need. Huge mistake Broncs keep making sometimes you have to show faith but some players were never going to deliver (or deliver again). Might as well let someone with hope of improving screw up instead.

At moment we are carrying too many players who are past it or will never be in the 17.

Sims, Thaiday, Boyd, Glenn, Nikko (at 7 fine as 14.) +?Kahu.

Add in failure to consistently thrive Offa, Opa (not his fault as much), Milf, McCullough, Sua.

Suggests severe problem with performance and recruitment management at Broncs.

Chin up mate - it’s not that bad.

I completely disagree that Alex Glenn is past it. One of the more consistent players we’ve produced.

As for moga, Poor bastard but I thought we got a pretty decent season out of him on balance.

We got huge value for money out of Moga - loved watching him get a bit of space to run at the defence.

Yeah, he made some questionable decisions at times, but I think he definitely deserved his spot for the whole season, and contributed to us making it all the way to the prelim.

Truly gutted for him.

He’s only getting a reco on his left knee, I read it was relatively minor surgery on the right.

You do know there is a salary cap ?

Moga tried and rebounded from some really bad flops but suspect only because he wasn’t bright enough to think about his bad decisions and thus never learnt from them. His meters were nullified by inability to pass or take advantage of the break. Hope he comes back for his sake but glad not at Broncs.

Alex Glenn is consistently mediocre in my opinion at least. First few years in grade looked like he was going to be enormous then became very mediocre. Tries hard and defends reasonably but couldn’t bust open a packet of chips let alone a defensive line. Waste giving him the ball anywhere near the 20.

Agree there is a cap but can you honestly say Thaiday or Sims are worth more than minimum wage at this stage? And yes Thaiday is on veterans but surely could pay a veteran worth that money. Some players will go up and down but these guys have gone nowhere for years. You can have cheap players but they still need to at least look like they are trying to earn their paycheck. They offer nothing a young bloke couldn’t but with less enthusiasm.

Like Kahu and fine to have at a fair price but guy cannot be played off the wing otherwise will not be fit for more than 2 games a season. Steady player a team needs but doubt he will get better as older.
