I do like the look of this team, only IMO not sure on Oates in second row but you never know with Seibold and a fresh slate.

It's not the sort of injury that means he could need to play reduced minutes. He had fractures in his neck but fractures heal. His neck would have healed by now and it would be like it was before the fracture.
He doesn't need to have his minutes reduced because of it. He can still play the whole 80 and still tackle like he used to.

I can’t believe how many times this has needed to be said. As if the med staff would let him play if there was any additional risk of further damage. We need him on the field for 80mins. Every week.

I'm talking about minimising risk and maximising value out of Gillett over the next 3 years of his contract. With the forwards we have, we can afford to give him a break. I'd start playing him for 80 minutes towards the serious end of the season.

That photo of Kahu (pretty sure it was him) sure made it look like he could play in the forwards! Lodge on the other hand looked like an old school front rower.

Nah, everyone knows Haas is going to play and be good.
I was talking more about a player that comes out of nowhere to play NRL every week at higher level of standard than expected
Moga and Ese'ese were good ones.. We were unlucky to lose them.

I actually think we have too much depth to really be surprised if someone performs well. Virtually the whole squad can play if given an opportunity.
