Look I’m not against moving on from Starc but for Kane Richardson??? That’s a shocker as is Smith for David.

I know he is isn’t in the World Cup squad but surely you go Ellis moving forward and maybe Sam’s as well but not sure for who.

The decision to not play a fully fit Mitchell Starc against one of the lower ranked teams in the tournament when you need to knock them over cheaply, it's got to be one of the worst decisions in Australian cricket
Our selector is George Bailey and coach is Andrew McDonald. I don’t know where you expect smart decisions to come from.

I’d suggest all of Warner, Finch, Starc, Wade and maybe Maxwell, Smith and Stoinis struggle to make it to the next WC.

So I guess it is time to rejuvenate and maybe post-WC go something like:

1. Head
2. Green
3. Marsh
4. McDermott
5. David
6. Inglis
7. Sams
8. Cummins
9. Ellis
10. Zampa
11. Hazlewood

We have plenty of elite T20 players, but they don't get selected, Phillipe, Inglis, Peirson, Sams, Ellis, and head and Carey are two of the best t20 players in the world..

Remove Cummins, he's so average at t20

Finally Inglis returning to domestic cricket. Hopefully he spends his time playing that instead of sitting in squads. Just ruins players careers.

Finch should be gone now, no point in persisting with him.

McDonald should come under a ton of pressure too, particuarly given Langer was sacked after winning a T20WC and the Ashes and McDonald couldn't even get his side up for a home WC. You can play well and miss the finals like South Africa last WC but Australia were lacklustre every game they played.

I think McDonald needs to win both the England one dayers and the Saffa’s Test series or he will be gone. That would be 12 months of just atrocious cricket he would have dished up under his leadership.

Most of those players have only ever played well in the BBL though. Head for example has barely played in the IPL and has a rather crap record in that tournament, he's also in such atrocious FC form that he deserves to be axed from the test side.

Unbelievably SA was beaten by the Netherlands and now likely out of the Cup. They find a new way to choke.

I talk to Indian fans regularly and they are absolutely hoping like hell that Bangladesh beat Pakistan.

I know we and England have our rivalry but at least it's politically civil, there's a healthy relationship. India refuses to have anything to do with anything Pakistan related outside of a world cup/asian cup. Losing to them, nothing hurts more. The reason I say all this, they could very likely end up playing each other in the Final.

If you want to ruin an Indian's day, just show the gif of Shaheen Afridi ripping out KL Rahul's off peg in their fixture in the last world cup, they got beaten by 10 wickets on that day.

Test side for Windies series is as expected. Harris and Boland round out the 13. One dayers for England is a little bit disappointing considering how poor most of them played in the previous World Cup. Despite his poor form of late I am glad that Travis is getting the first crack at opening though.
