I still dont get how people see Sailor as a 7. He cant kick. He might work at 6 and Ezra at 7, but i just dont see him as a half. He would be a speed bump there.
I don't but our options are terrible.

No to sailor at 7. Give madden another crack with walsh back. Our kick chase is a lot better now too so it should help madden a lot.

Hes a fullback, could potentially play 5.8 but i would probably prefer to see walters in the 7 before Sailor... Yuk (although i thought walters did admirably again coming on for Reyno)

1. Walsh
2. Arthars
3. Staggs
4. Cobbo
5. Mariner
6. Mam
7. Sailor
8. Jenson
9. Walters
10. Baker (not willing to start Willison just yet)
11. Hunt
12. Riki
13. Carrigan

14. Smoothy
15. Te Kura
16. Willison
17. Oates

We're going to miss Reyno, we've already seen life without him this year, but pray for Walsh's return to offset it. He returns and that is still a good side.

You are keeping Baker and dropping Hetherington? I am just assuming you forgot him surely.

You know what, let's say we are without Haas, Piakura, Reynolds only. There is an opportunity here to do something a bit crazy:

1. Walsh / Sailor (If Walsh is still out)
2. Arthars
3. Staggs
4. Cobbo
5. Mariner
6. Mam
7. Walters
8. Jensen
9. Smoothy
10. Willison (Unfortunately Baker holds his spot if Willison is still out)
11. Hunt
12. Riki
13. Carrigan

14. Mozer
15. Hetherington
16. Te Kura
17. Oates

I wasn't stressed about the storm loss but if we lose this and reynolds is out for 3+ weeks we won't be making the top 4 this year and therefore not the premiership....

Our injuries have been fucked. We give are in a totally different position if we get 1 or 2 injuries every week max and play a few games without a 1st half fucking injury to important players.

Tide will turn at some point. We just pushed the Storm at home and if not for a ‘questionnable’ overturn and an Arthars brain snap, we are sitting pretty at 3-2 and beaten Melbourne in Melbourne despite all the injuries. We may not make top 4 but even if we don’t, our players should be fresh enough with all the time they’ve been on the sidelines. This season still has a long way to go and we are going better than the ladder suggests.

We have the team to win the premiership. In fact I think at full strength the only team that could get near us is the panthers, we nearly beat them in our 1st gf having only played good for 20 mins last year and this year our full strength side would beat last year's I believe with the growth they've had.

But no team in the HISTORY of the nrl-post McIntyre finals system era has won a gf outside the top 4. We will get close but it will be a bridge too far unfortunately
