Good news though, Papail is playing. His 18 minute stint of 4 hitups for 40 metres will push the contest QLDs way no doubt

**** you gotta feel for the bloke... I dont necessarily rate him all that highly, but it might've been his one and only shot to get a blues jersey and he's out because of a training injury.

Yep absolutely. He won't get another shot.

He's played 8 games for Australia at least, and he's been an overpaid hack for years, so he can't feel too bad, he won the lottery with his last contract.

Hunt would probably be a safe choice, Dearden has been playing well but he would be a very easy target in origin, he doesn't have a running game to get him out of trouble in that regard.

Oates actually strengthens us on the wing and in meter gainage though, but losing munster is a fucking massive out, we can't be confident with that.

If Hunt, who goes to 14? / 9?

Mahoney to Start at 9, Grant as 14.

Paix is similar to Grant where he does his best as a bench hooker with the sting out of it so he wouldn't be suitable unless Grant is the one out.

Dearden would be the least risky, risk option if that makes sense, then it would be a straight swap, the real ballsy throwing shit at the wall option would be to move Ponga to 6 and have Walsh at 1, I think that would be insane but you would look like a fucking genius if it worked.

Surely not fair on Dearden to bring him in to this game. If it's game one or two, fine. He comes in and they get thumped, that shit could break him.

I think the Hunt/Mahoney change makes most sense.
