It's all JT's fault for the niggle.

“On the niggle, a lot of the talk has revolved around JT and I think we saw JT slapping Beau Scott and being penalised for the tackle on Josh Reynolds at the end,” Gallen said yesterday without prompting.

Error Page

Remind me Paul, who threw a clothesline at GI's head and got off scott free?

Dead-set, forget this no-punch rule ruining Origin BS, if the referees did their job and penalised the right infringements there would be far less infringement.

Really hope the Maroons collectively bitch slap NSW and remind them one series win doesn't make them the better state.

I'm not an advocate of diving, but if QLD went down like a football (soccer) player at every dog/high shot we would have won game two.

I used to like Gallen playing for NSW . He was always good for two or three penalties. Not now it seems , as this bonehead seems to be off limits to refs at the moment , at least in state of origin . Just over it . I think a lot of Queenslanders feel the same way .The refs ,the video refs , Gus Gould (One who knows all) , Ray Warren ( Only sees Qld infringments) and finally Gallen ( a perpetual whinging dog shot merchant). Just sick of them. And now Gallen spraying JT for foul play. That takes the cake! Really hope JT and GI can lift tonight , and do something special as Alphie has predicted.

PS Off the thread , but also really pissed off at Dave Taylor ,having been given yet another chance to redeem himself in a treasured maroon jersey , comes out saying how much he wants to play union. WTF!

How can Patten be video ref when he was a NSW player? Sure he didn't play but that was definitely a possibility. It just irks me, at the very least choose a neutral option.

Well that's 75% of the selection criteria of becoming an NRL ref!

Broncoman, given there is a third origin game on tonight that no one really cares about now and the dust has settled, do you think the better team won origin 2 or do you think it was gifted to you guys by some VERY poor refereeing incompetence?

How many neutral options would there be with pretty much the entire ex player pool/rugby league community being based in NSW or Qld?

in fairness, fixed ... because the game should've been out of reach when NSW got their help.

Why should video refs be ex players ? What lame brain came up with that? As for Luke Patten , just how can a guy who is on puplic record applauding Gallens punch fest on Gallens head last year even remain a video ref let alone a state of origin game. The guy just has to biased and he has well and truly proven that in game 2.( Most obviously not reporting on Gallens swinger on Slater). I have no doubt there will be a repeat performance by Patten tonight . He is worth four points to the blues.

I just can't be bothered with you anymore, you've essentially become a troll.

Come on mate, let the lad enjoy it. Sure he's copped his fair share of licks over the last 8 years.

Regarding Gallen, he'll always be a loser, a grub and a hypocrite. Origin has always been a rougher game but he, Bird, Ennis, and Watmough are amongst the filthiest players at club level too. Little wonder they've been cornerstones of the side.

I wouldn't tar them all with the same brush: Players like the Morris Bros are alright in my books, but Gallen is a dead set maggot who I wouldn't piss on to put out a fire. **** him in his stupid ass.
