Gallen raises his elbow almost every tackle as well yet the refs never seem to deem it an offence ????

Saying that though it was a prett bad look from Myles.

He'll no doubt get some time off for it.

Was at the game and even the blues supporters behind me were giving him shit and telling him to get up.

My favourite was the guy in a blues onesy directly behind me that had been smashing beers since 4. He gets up and screams at bird. "Get up ya cat **** before I fucken glass ya"

No games with an early guilty plea.

Would have been better if he'd broken that ***** jaw.

Should be interesting at training for the Titans. Bird, Myles and Taylor. No love lost.

Bird and Myles always get into each other at Origin.

"That's 2 you dumb ****..." was classic though lol.

definitely Oscar worthy ...

apart from his general dirty, grubby play ... what gives me the shits about Bird, is that no matter what he does on the field, he acts like he has been hard done by, if he is penalized.

for example, that lifting tackle on Myles just before the elbow incident ... he was whinging to the ref about being penalized. I reckon he could punch someone in the head right in front of the ref and would act like he was treated unfairly by the refs for being penalized

To be fair, Gallen i think it was should have copped it for that tackle. He came in and pushed Myles down making it dangerous.

They must have trained for that type of tackle. Every game it happened. There should be a minimum suspension of 12+ weeks for it. Doesn't matter if the player pulled his head down, landed on his back whatever, take him above the horizontal, suspended.

there has got to be more discretion than that. The idea of mandatory penalties is just something to appease people.
