Personal wish = none

Actual prediction:

QLD - Milford, Oates, Fifita, Gillett

NSW - Haas, TPJ, Lodge

Bolded are almost certainties. The rest will be in camp but may not play

I used to be happy for Milford to at least make the training squad just to learn off Thurston and Cronk but those days are over. So I’m hoping no broncos make it so we can make a charge towards top 4

I often wonder whether it's better for him to skip Origin and focus purely on the Broncos, or whether it's better for him to become a successful Origin player. Part of me really wants to see Broncos do well (for QLD) in Origin, like it's a natural step up towards a premiership.

QLD: Oates, Gillett are certainties. There's a few rumblings around for Joe O and Fifita too so I think they probably end up in the 17.

NSW: Haas. Lodge & TPJ would seem to be very little chance, but I get the feeling Freddy doesn't mind a surprise.

I think one of Lodge and Haas has a good chance of being there. Definitely not both. Vaughan and Klemmer will start, and I can't see Fittler going with more than 1 prop off the bench. He'll definitely have a "utility", a 2nd rower (probably Chrichton), Lodge/Haas/maybe someone else, and I have a feeling the last one will be Murray.

Hopefully none for QLD if the selectors pick Hunt or Granville at 9 because we will be copping a humiliating 3-0 hiding.

Can't wait to see Munster fail badly for the second year in a row without Smith running the show for him: he's a running full back like Turbo who can sort of pass, but people are in the impression that he's an amazing ball player because he plays in a side with Smith and formerly Cronk doing everything. It wasn't pretty when he tried to run the side last year. DCE is going to have a lot on his plate, and he won't be able to deal with it considering the might of the NSW forward pack, assuming they pick the right players, is going to absolutely dominate QLD's.

You're right, but if I was picking the NSW side I would capitalize on QLD's biggest weakness which is our middle. Our forwards point blank wouldn't be able to cope with a rotation of Klemmer, Lodge, Haas, TPJ, PV, etc.

Turpin will be dropped the second McCullough is fit. Just prepare yourself.

I fear you might be right - we all do - but I can see him as Origin hooker before the series is out. Especially if we're losing with Hunt. He's better than the incumbent, by miles. What else does he need to prove?

Agree.......Fittler will want to throw Hass into the rep scene. He must be watching Payne play and be rubbing his hands with glee.

According to old mate Dobbo, Milford is the front runner for the 14 jersey (With Hunt starting at 9), only other 2 players in consideration are Mbye & Granville.

Did I hear right that Granville might be suspended? He won’t have any more games to impress. Mmmbop is more of a utility but no where near the level of Milford.

Dobbo has been right a fair bit lately about the Broncos, but he might not have the same level of contacts in the Maroons, so who knows.
