Brisbane are set to be boosted with representative pair Andrew McCullough and Alex Glenn eyeing returns for Sunday's sudden-death clash with the Dragons at Suncorp Stadium, though the jury remains out on boom forward Tevita Pangai jnr.
McCullough is a certain starter after overcoming a heavy concussion that forced him out of the Broncos big win over Manly, while Glenn was a late scratching with a calf injury as well, but the club is confident the seven-day turnaround will have him back on deck.

Alarm bells rang when Pangai jnr left the field after 50 minutes clutching his hamstring, though Brisbane officials claim he could have returned to the fray if needed.
Captain Darius Boyd said the injury was the same nerve-related groin/hamstring concern Pangai jnr has battled previously this year, and stands a good chance of healing in time for the bumper clash.
"(Pangai jnr) said it was just a neural injury, which usually means it's pretty good and will be right in 3-4 days time," Boyd told NRL.com on Monday.
"Fingers crossed it is the neural thing and he'll be straight back out on Sunday."

The Tongan international has played through the pain more than once already in 2018, most notably when Wayne Bennett pushed him to take the paddock against Penrith six weeks ago and Pangai jnr promptly played the house down.
Dragons lock Jack de Belin meanwhile is sweating scans on a foot injury that he too played through against the Newcastle despite hearing a crack in his foot early in the game.
Skipper Gareth Widdop is a confirmed starter for the Red V as he returns from a dislocated shoulder, and could have played in the Knights game if the Dragons were still in contention for a top four spot.

Surely widdops shoulder won't be 100% after a dislocation. Send plenty of traffic his way.

I want revenge for round 1. Our halves looked lost, our pack was dominated...They broke Gillett's neck!! Hunt making that intercept made my blood boil...
I want to put 40 on these *****.
I think 40 is a safe bet, the Dragons are deplorable. There are plenty out there talking up this game but I have little concerns about this match. Week 2 will be a different story though.

I'm a bit scared of frizzell running at Milford and kahu though... our left side defence needs to be really switched on for the finals.
Justifiably and they will score through that corridor but it's just not going to be enough. They have enough defensive frailties of their own to worry about and we will score heavily. This same side have given up 25 odd points a game for quite a few games now and we are on the upswing. WB will remind them about last time and I'm sure no one wants this roll on to stop. The nerves will start later, not this week I'm sure. Pretty sure. Bit nervous. ****, hope they win.

Got my tickets.

Section 312, row 4. I'll be on TV. Might even be able to get an upgrade to a corporate box.

This should be a great game. Hopefully the Broncos don't shit the bed.

Dragons will not be keen for this one, especially at Suncorp on a Sunday arvo with Ben Hunt at halfback. I reckon we will pump them!

That NRL ladder blows my mind. Top 4 teams all equal on 34 points, and 5th to 8th all equal on 32 points. Crazy when you think back.

Am looking forward to the Dragons game, our ol rival the red V.

Broncs by 7 points in a really tough slog.

Broncos by 1, in extra time. After Gareth Widdop drops a kick off. Ben Hunt giggles his arse off

Can someone tell me who wrote this garbage. Direct attack at the referees integrity
Pretty hard to argue with the facts though isn't it ? It's anything but a DIRECT attack but it could be an indirect attack certainly. He doesn't say anywhere that a Sutton is a cheat and even gave an example of the way he refs. You've got to be fair about this but his claim that no St George fan would want a Sutton is totally correct.

Indirect or direct it's definitely an attack.
The headline on foxsports was penalty broncos
Even if I'm going by your opinion it still is not worthy of an article

I doubt Gerard Sutton gets put on our game. You'd think they'd be smart enough not to do that - as there will be a lot of noise about it if they do.

Yeah, that's okay and I think you're right. On it's own not worth an article but certainly not a stat that should be keep quiet and truthfully I'm sure you'd admit it's a fucking amazing anomaly. Headline was a disgrace.

You give the NRL too much credit. This is the organisation that keeps putting an ex Bulldog in the Bunker for Bulldogs games.

Though if Sutton was in line to ref our game, changing it at the 11th hour would be typical NRL.

How easy is it to manipulate the NRL? Well, if your team has a bad record in certain scenarios, push it to the media as a sticking point and of course the NRL will cave. Even if it is just a statistical anomaly.
