Kevvie really needs to get into Brent Naden's ear as soon as Nov 1 hits. Apparently Penrith have not even spoken to him yet about extending his contract beyond next year. Cleary seems to have gone a bit cold on him, judging by the way he used him on the bench over the past 2 games. As soon as he got on the field last night, he lifted the team with his energy and efforts.

He could be the strike centre we are missing and would compliment Staggs beautifully into the future.

Staggs will miss a big chunk of next season though wont he? Could be a good buy though cleary opting for may over naden delivered them a GF loss

Apparently a review has been in progress for a month or so and now it gets out to the media as it’s about to be handed down. Or so the media tell us and people on here are arguing we are not a basket case.....they are right, at the moment we are far worse than that I'm afraid. Sadly.

It's weird that most seem to take the media talk as gospel , as if we're sitting on our hands with signings. It seems obvious to me that there is a reason we're not sharing any signing news as yet.

Tell me something the media have run with about our club that wasn't true this year? Everything leaks behind the four walls of the club. Every board meeting was announced in the media the day before when it wasn't public information, the entire TPJ story was known beforehand, Seibold's sacking, literally everything the club did this year was known by journos before it became public.

So the dogs are behind us!!! They finished in front of us this year handing over the spoon...our first.
They sacked their coach and signed Barrett in june or july...unlike us who took forever to make a replacement.
Their chairperson, coaching director and 2 board members....gone....unlike ours even though white gone but still there.
They signed young flannagan pretty much as soon as the rorters punted him...... Signed a couple of panthers...declined on a few other signings to avoid being bent over.....they might regret signing blake green at the back end of his career and now injured......theyre not linked to anyone and everything out of melbourne except addo carr....... Weve signed no one as far as im aware..apparently there will be movement after another review!!!! So looks like we will still be stuck with blokes who should have been punted long before now......

A) took them 4 years before they even did that (last time the made the 8 was 2016)
B) it's easier for them to do since they are not a publicly traded company. as long as news corp are happy with the board nothing anyone can do
