Pretty sure he was playing fullback in the NRL at a high standard as recent as last season
was he playing fullback last season - yes

was he playing at a high level - well.....

Again, thats was then.....2 years on....sorry im not seeing it.

But for depth, if he is open to it and the club can make the numbers of a contract work....id be fine with it...

You’d sign Gareth Widdop for depth?

I’ll take Miranda Kerr as a side chick while we’re at it.

If Cowboys do sign Widdop, does that open up the possibility of us signing Drinkwater to play fullback?
Now that would be a signing I'd like. Wouldn't break the bank, young, quality player, plenty of upside.

But knowing the Broncos, the club will likely sign him on big money and then it will be his shoulder injury was worse than first thought and he actually now has a leg attached where the arm used to be.

Can also move into 5/8 if Milf remains the player he’s been in recent years.

My only concern is that it leaves us with a very young spine.

We're not getting Drinkwater. The Cows aren't letting him go. It's Clifford that's on the chopping block.

Well lucky we have Isaako.

I'm just holding on to hope we sign one of B Smith/Grant, once Smith hurries the **** up and decides what he's going to do.

The longer it drags on the more I'm convinced he'll sign June 29, for 200k for the rest of the season with Melbourne as another lol salary cap.

That would mean he'd trolled the Broncos and the NRL Salary Cap all in the one hit.

****, he's too good an operator to miss an opportunity like that.

With every passing week I'm getting more and more confident that's going to be the scenario. And if he signs after the season starts, it probably waives the clause Grant/Smith have to get released. Wouldn't put it past Melbourne.

Grant/Smith won't come down to technicalities or clauses in their contracts. Melbourne will work out a way to do what's right for both players regardless of what Cam Smith does because that's the kind of well run and professional club they are.

He'll play on with the Storm, they'd have to be clear favorites to go back to back.

cool....dont sign him then.....

2021 FA period is our window.....save our cash for that....

And re-sign Staggs and Dearden please...

Really dont think its going to be as easy
As just re-signing Staggs. He's looking elsewhere.
