Sprojy's weekly list? It would break records - not necessarily good ones.

I for one vote that the inaugural topic should be a list of @Sproj 's best ever lists. Ever. I'm talking angry team lists from when Whitchurch was being selected ahead of Kemp etc.

100% we should.

I can be on there to talk all things Jake Turpin, so depending on how many episodes per week, that will either be its own hour long episode, or half of the weekly show

Oh I have a list of rants against Manihera, the sluggiest of sluggiest slugs to ever slug in a Broncos' jersey.

How long have you been listening to him? Not a loaded question, I'm just interested. I used to really like the guy, but he's smoked too much of everything for mine. I think he's going crazy.
I think he has mellowed out over the years,if you ever listened to the early eps with eddie bravo and when joe was on the conspiracy train you would agree i think.

To try and keep things a little tidier for the staff. Could anyone who would be willing to either help get this going, be involved either by being part of a podcast or helping prepare for one, please send me a PM.

Will help us get an idea of what sort of assistance we will be working with. I personally don't know much about podcasts.

Also, would love any RL, especially Broncos ones that you may know of / listen to.

I'd be into it. Might even do another BHQ list, just for the podcast.

Dunno if I’d have the time to be regularly involved but would definitely participate somehow.

I'm not shitting on this idea as I think it could be a good one, but there's just so much to consider for podcasts;

1. Equipment (I think Morethanjack has offered some) - if the audio isn't clear and concise, it's just not worth it despite however good the material being discussed is. no one wants to hear static or random breathing.

2. Audience - who is this podcast for? Is it for BHQ? Is it for Broncos fans? Qld Rugby League fans? General NRL fans?

3. Topics - this ties in with 2, but what is the purpose of the show? Is it general chatter? Is it a review show of the previous weeks games? Is it largely a Q&A podcast wherein you'll be getting in people connected to the broncos (or other clubs)?

4. Host - whoever hosts needs to have a solid grasp of English. Nothing worse than hearing podcasts that are interspersed with a thousand uh's or um's and can't elicit a single sentence without multiple pauses. they would also need to be engaging to some degree, you need someone personable that isn't going to speak like they are reading from a parliamentary bill.

All great points to consider.

The podcasts I've seen from the ground up that have worked, have all had to consider this + more. It's important to establish what the purpose of the show is, and then which demographics you're targetting etc.

It's definitely possible to do, but takes time to smooth out through behind the scenes trial and error, testing and feedback.
The time it takes to smooth out the above could be a good use of the off season though.

On the host point, it's important to have someone who can be impartial to both sides of the opinions and topics as to not put offside some members/fans.
