Fittler is all over the place. It starts with the game 1 selections. Picking guys because he is mates with guys affliated or coaching them. TPJ and Hudson Young should have been never picked. Now Leniu? It is actually hilarious.

Hopefully Moses did enough or Hynes gets it. Would love to see Reyno in there for his sake, but we need him at the Broncos more than the Blues. Pick Moses and/or Hynes.

In fact, pick Luke Brooks for all I care. Just leave Reyno to have a week off and rip in against the Tits.

Sounds like Reynolds missed out on the NSW team. Oh what a shame...
Seriously though now he can focus on Broncos premiership

Surprised no RCG for NSW.
Wouldn’t see why he would be only played 1 game back from a serious injury and Freddy clearly isn’t a fan of him due to his history with the origin selection.

We'll see how accurate that list is, but Latrell would be a timely inclusion. He's a genuine option close to the line and the type of player who can just take the game away from the Maroons if he's used right.

Nicho has been hard done by, but I think they made the right call between him and Moses. It would have been a huge departure to play the type of footy that suits Hynes' style. Moses can slot in more readily and would know how to play off the back of others.

Besides, I don't think it was necessarily Hynes vs. Moses as much as it was Hynes vs. Luai. Once they settled on the Luai/Cleary combination for Game I, it was always going to be difficult to break-up and this is a big game in Jarome's career. If he steps up here, he'll silence a lot of the critics. He certainly has the talent to do just that.

The same can be said of Hudson Young. In an ideal situation, Freddy would have just been able to call in Angus Crichton, but with the Roosters playing so poorly, he'd either have to start Martin or Murray who are touch and go or bring in an unproven rookie. I expect that with the jitters out of his system, Young will be better and won't gift Queensland as many opportunities as he did on debut. If it doesn't happen, at least you can blood a player at home.

I think you can get away with blooding players off the bench in this type of game, so I'm not overly critical of the Utoikamanu pick. He was in camp for Game I, so he knows what to expect and he's that bigger body forward Freddy loves.

Still plenty of talent there to pull off the upset. It would make for an interesting head-ache if they did get the job done without Cleary, especially since Nathan could be right come Game III.

Freddy is an idiot and wrong though.
Well I can agree with Freddy being an idiot but I don’t know if any coach on planet earth would pick someone like RCG who is by no means crucial to that team after 1 game back from a severe injury. I wouldn’t have picked him regardless he does nothing for me but Freddy seems to have an issue with his personality by all reports which I don’t understand. All things considered when Jake Trbojevic isn’t getting selected I think it’s pretty understandable RCG isn’t getting selected 1 game back.

Jake isn't available otherwise he would have been there.

Feel bad for Reyno cause at the end of the day he was the best option to go and win the game by a mile but for him age and his body are not on his side. As a Broncos and Maroons fan ecstatic. As an Adam Reynolds fan disappointed.
Nah this is much better for him. NSW are going to get smashed in game 2, so at least this way Reynolds won't be the scapegoat. Reynolds can play game 3 (maybe even get a win).
