Also the fact that he's only 20 and not even close to his peak.
Halves are generally bog average at best until at least 3-4 seasons under their belt, even then, can take longer.

Yep.

But under the name of Gene Krupa.

My user name of Kaz was permabanned. They know who I am.

Was posting a Gene Krupa for 3 years & I was pretending to be a male & a Dogs fan.

They only found out when I outed myself. 🤣😂😆

Flanagan seems nice.

Scored 40+ and could have got a few more, but conceded 20+ and worryingly could have been a few more. Need to sort that shit out when playing ‘better’ teams.

I think we have to accept that the standard of officiating is just piss poor, on and off the field. The late tackle on Reyno not ‘seen’, the sin bin for Cobbo and an off the ball hit to the head was it on Sailor?, I can’t remember now but we went on to score a try. Soft penalties and 6 agains putting pressure right back on us.

A weakened first choice team through injuries, origin selection has given opportunities to younger lads and they’ve not let us down.

All of this against us….. but we’re still at the top of the ladder.

This game sums up our season so far a lot, could we have been better at times? Yes. Are we our own worst enemies at times? Yes.

But these boys rarely give up, and manage to find ways to win despite everything.

Could it be our year? Too bloody right mate!

Go you beautiful Broncos!

You have to remember though, we had our entire first choice middle out, the combinations just weren’t there, hence some soft tries.

Billy is good for us, and it keeps our spine cheap so we can use the money elsewhere.
Like a hooker?

Just kidding. He had a good game, and **** me, Mozer didn't exactly show him up this week.

Not sure of his stats, but I thought Marty was outstanding yesterday. Felt like he played longer minutes than usual, took plenty of hard carries but just seemed to churn out decent pcm. I thought he really stepped up yesterday.

And Piakura........just something about the way he moves. I can now see why Brisbane have persisted so long with him. He could be a gun.

His foot work is something special .
Not many players can beat a man the way he does . Starting to do it consistently now . Makes Riki look like he is using a walking frame . LOL .
An exciting future for him .
