What so he can't even play origin? Wow he probably has some kiwi in him play for nz
Samoan/Victorian.

If Hammer plays for Samoa there is no chance he plays internationals at the end of the year, even Joseph Suallii would be ahead of him, but he does look promising.

I have to give some respect to Satan for finding a talent from the cursed state.

Thank You Members Round.

43k fans turned up. Seeing Broncos lose and especially seeing the way Smith carried on after his try, the fans that turned up deserved better.

I was all for resting players but I can’t help but feel a bit empty after that loss. Time will tell if resting players outweighs going into finals with the first minor prem in 23 years and the first win over Melbourne in 13 games.

Glad I’m not the one making the decision but one way or another I think last night will define our season.

Just seeing a replay of the storm intercept try this morning and you can really see the wrong decision made by madden. The play was on but he didn’t realise a tired forward didn’t track him on the inside. Had he stepped back in it was try time. Wishart sets up a try with the exact play for the storm later on. Madden definitely has potential but needs a lot of work.

Well that was underwhelming.

Can someone please tell me why Oates try was disallowed at the end, forward pass, bullshit. Would have been too little too late though.

The tackle on Willison needs to be looked at again……..
I don’t like losing full stop. Losing to those leppers takes it to another level.

Onto the finals. Thankfully don’t have to sit through reserve grade crap again.

We could have played Capewell and Herbie. Having them there would have gone a long way towards us winning the game, it would have allowed us to have Piakura playing off the bench providing that impact instead of having two hookers.

If the worst happened, we've got the depth to cover them.

honestly wished we played Te Kura if we are going to rest everyone atleast, we should of seen how the Mozer/Te Kura combo would work in first grade tbh. those two our the future big talents for this club.

As far as this Faalogo kid goes…?! Entertaining - sure
Quick - yep
Instinctual and Eyes Up footy - good
Think about who he reminds you of….

Here is a few hints - A fat, lazy, uninspired little garden gnome. He owes the Broncos a few million for playing like shit.

Faalogo even looks like him!! As as I was watching him tonight I thought - wow, that’s Milford.
Milford with a sprinkle of Kyle Feldt.
Every tackle on him resulted in him clutching an ankle, his neck, a shoulder, or throwing his arms up at the ref.
Then miraculously playing the next set like nothing happened. Hate dudes like that.

I'd add Staggs to that as well.
I think if Capes, Herbie and Staggs played we win it comfortably.

I woke up grumpy because of losing yet again to the Storm, and only hope we win when it matters because this hoodoo shit has a way of fucking up your best made plans.

If we lose twice to the Storm in 2 weeks, losing the minor premiership in the process i will flip a table.

100%, and boy i hope im wrong but just like before last nights game, i still see Storm as our bogey team, and even beating their reserve grade side would have put a stop to that.

I dont know if it was a good idea or bad idea to rest players, effectively throwing away the minor premiership and extending Storms dominance over us.
A win against them may have been just as beneficial as resting players, if not more-so.

The Lions hadn’t beaten the Melbourne Demons in the AFL for ages as well and lost late in the season two years ago. Two weeks later they played them again in the finals and smashed them. Have won every game against them since except for a 1 point loss this year. This will be the last time the Storm bests us for some time. We’ll smash them in finals.

Thought the young guys did pretty well. Smoothy is useless no matter the players around him.

I'm so fucking sick of losing to Melbourne.
He's definitely a better hooker than Kobe. Not sure about lock.

....the law of averages.
more times we lose
means we eventually gotta win.

Lets win the one that counts........ 😉
