HATE losing to Melbourne with a passion, but thinking logically, I couldn’t be happier with this result.

Melbourne are the best team in the comp at exposing edge defence and creating opportunities out wide.

If we won and had to play them next week with all their players back they would absolutely ABUSE our right edge defence all tonight and tear us to shreds.

This is a heaps, heaps better result for us. Getting the overrated Warriors instead of our ultimate bogey team week 1 of the finals is a great result.

Also gives us a timely wake up call right before the finals which can’t hurt.

Minor premiership is totally meaningless.

Storm just don’t lose at suncorp. I pray we don’t ever play them here in a final because it’s a disaster waiting to happen. They live rent free in the broncos heads as well as in their stadium. It’s sad.

That was disappointing TBH, we had the chance to win that, or at least go a couple a head, several times in that game and we blew our chances through mistakes and panicking. I'm kinda proud that most of the guys played well, but some guys had shockers too.
Was a good loss for superstitious me that didn't want to go into the finals on a winning streak, I think that always ends badly. But **** I wanted to break the storm hoodoo tonight.

I think we get them next time, the regulars will want revenge.
I think Klein had a shocker, as usual.

Sailor bottling it at the end was disappointing.

The inability to create numbers up a man was disappointing.

Positives:
Mozer had some moments to give hope.

Riki’s kick chase was on point.

None of our rested players were further injured or suspended.

Absolutely pumped up the middle at the back end, which is a direct result of our bench.

What annoys me most (mostly because I should have seen it coming) is that this result forces people to watch the Penrith game to see who wins the minor. More viewership $$$$. smrt
