Asked Chris Garry (dunno how reliable he is ) about Croft and what the broncos think of him this is his response They don't rate him that highly. He's quite robotic. Questions whether he can play in another system.They also have a couple of good young halves like Tannah Boyd
 
Chris Garry is one of the more reliable media sources, doesn't mean his always on the ball but better then most.

It just seems to me we ain’t going to the market because next year a young half in Tannah Boyd will be our halfback.
 
Isn't it widely thought that Paix is the better prospect than Boyd, or did I get that wrong?

Come round 1 2018, TBoyd will be older than Karmichael Hunt was when he debuted for us.

I'm not saying he will play next year -- but -- if you are good enough , you are old enough.

Karmichael Hunt debuted at 17 ... you can't even do that now, you need to be 18. so unless T. Boyd is 18 by round 1 2018, he will not be permitted to play

Under NRL rules him and Paix cannot play next season.
 
All this BS rating 17yos as the next best halfback or whatever position is completely devoid of any reality. As if they could even steer a team around when they've never even played in the top level against Men much older, experienced and bigger than them. See it constantly on here. It's just not real

Yeah yeah nah. Ben Hunt couldn’t even do it at 27 might as well try someone ten years younger and hugely inexperienced. They can grow in to the role, we’re paying for potential etc etc.

I know I fucked up majorly with that Pearce rumour and I am hoping that BHQ will Accept my humble apology. But the hot topic in the coffee shops in Noosa and Salvos at Nambour is that Sam Tagatese is in talks with the club. I'm no fan of his but I am sure that plenty on here are.
