Looking at that list, they've judged not only on performances vs dollars/hype, but also effectiveness (including time on the field). Otherwise players like Idris wouldn't be as high, or even on the list. So how come Willie Tonga gets off so easy?

I don't see the point of 20whatever to present. Sandow for example could tear shit up next year. Kennedy and Barba are tough ones. Yeah they were shit, but have been moved on rather rapidly. Barba in particular doesn't belong on that list Imo. At least not as high.

Interesting list but a bit harsh with some players. Injuries derailed a lot of those signings at their new clubs. Didn't Dane Neilsen have broken ribs last year? Pretty harsh to lump him in there.

It shouldn't really matter why, this list is done in hindsight so overall the signing needs to be judged on value, not why they didn't perform.

Don't know why ....Marshall has been very good for the Dragons. Off the top of my head, would have to be high in the list of best buys in 2014.

You cant have Barba in there. Had 1 year, injured during pre-season and only started to get fully fit at the back end of the year, where unsurprisingly he started running in a fair few tries and assists.

Funny that the Broncos just signed 2 of the top 10 lol. Adam Blair should've been number 1, with Sandow close behind. Nothing can ever beat blair. One of the highest paid contracts in the game at the time, stunk the joint up for 3 years.

he was only on 350k next year (what would have been the final year of his bulldogs contract, it was 2016 that he got his payday with us)
