Scans have shown Reynolds has a hamstring strain and NRL Physio has made several references over the past couple of years about how even minor strains can be tricky and can lead to a player being out for longer than expected.

What scans showed that? There is nothing in that NRL Physio quote that say that, it says he experienced tightness and keeping him out is precautionary. That does not equate to a grade 1 hamstring strain unless there is another post we've missed?

The scan results are on the Broncos website.. They were posted earlier today.

And McHunt's earlier post in the thread shows Walters confirming he has a strain.

Just resting him in preparation for the storm and cowboys games.

Maybe we should just wheel him out for the top 8 teams and finals.

I'm thinking we should at least limit his training......

No, kevvie should have rested him the other night when we were well up. Like it or not, this all falls on kevvie for not resting him at the 70 minute mark.

is this what souths knew that we didn't?

not at all.

Reynolds wasn't the only player the only offered a 1 year deal to. the Burgess and GI incidents burned them and now they are gun shy ... thankfully for us

BS. this hamstring strain has nothing to do with the knee he took to the groin ... and certainly nothing to to with playing 10 extra minutes 2 weeks ago

Nothing at all……even though he hasn’t played since then. Alice in wonderland argument buddy.

The hamstring issue happened during training, not the Manly game. He had a running session after the Knights game with no issue.

Even if it did, taking him off 10 minutes early wouldn't have made much difference.

yes ... because he didn't have a hamstring injury until a week later.

picking up an injury at training doesn't mean it happened in a game, just FYI. or doesn't mean playing an extra 10 minutes over a week earlier would have prevented the injury.

Sounds like a statement out of clubland. Fact is there were a number of us who called for it because we could foresee a likely future problem that could have been avoided. That problem ended up eventuating. I love kevvie as a coach so far but he fucked up on this occasion, hopefully he learns from it.

But he played that last 10 minutes fine.
Kicked a goal, kicked for the Kobe no try
