OPINION Broncos are making the 8

Calling it now! We're making the 8 this year:

- Most of the games against the top 4 are out of the way.
- alot of games at home for us from here on in.
- we hopefully shouldn't lose too many to origin (unlike the teams we play during that period)
-looking at the reminding 14 rounds we only need to win 9 games (plus the bye) to make the 8 (assuming its 26 this year).
- besides Melbourne and Penrith, I don't see why we can't win all the others.

I love your optimism, but we have seen crazy highs and lows this year so i am completely confused about where we will end up on the ladder.
Case in point, a win over the Titans followed 2 rounds later by a 50 point flogging at the hands of Manly.

A close loss to Penrith followed by a 40 point flogging by the Eels.
If we follow this pattern, then expect a 50 point flogging at the hands of the Storm next round.

Now with the insanity of the games knee jerk rule changes, its next to impossible to say where we will end up.

All that being said, 100% for sure we make the 8.

Although.. the constant stop start nature of the new interpretations does allow for our team to regroup and avoid huge lapses of mental toughness for periods of a game that previously allowed the opposition to score quick back to back tries.
