FOOTBALL English Premier League 23/24 Discussion

I think that Pep comment is more being gracious on his departure than endorsing him. But also Lavia like Sancho and others clearly didn't want to bide his time out of the first team. Take your point about Poch and Kovacic.
All for serving an apprenticeship behind the greats but Rodri was only 26yo when Lavia was let go.

How long would you expect a talented young kid to bide his time in a specialist position?

Same thing has happened to the young GKs Trafford and Bazunu who they have let go.

A year or two. Worked for Foden

If Lavia was still at City now do you think he would be playing ahead of Rodri?

Foden isn't quite the right comparison given he covers a number of positions and was initially behind Sane and Sterling, both of whom have already left the club.

Neymar to Saudi done.

Least that rules out United dropping dumb money on him to finish the window.

This Lavia situation is getting spicy.

Liverpool and Southampton have just agreed a $60mil fee, player is currently in London awaiting a medical with Chelsea. Over to Chelsea to now match the offer again.

Wolves lack that final 3rd poise a bit still but if they get relegated or anywhere near relegated they have fucked up. They look very good.

This is tough on Wolves so far..been the better side even after the mess the club had been in this last week.

Jeez, corruption In the premier league lives on. How was that not a penalty. Big team bias strikes again.

That result is tough to take put a promising performance. Should have won easily if we could finish. Outplayed them totally.

Said it before the ball had been kicked VAR is ripping the soul out of football and its backed up my opinion. How can Onana literally miss the ball and double punch the Wolves player in the head, but no penalty? I'm sure the officials are corrupt. It wasn't even checked.

Wolves the better side and whilst the result may leave a bitter taste there was some very promising signs. That was a great performance minus the shots on goal or lack there of just not being up to scratch. Oh well what can you do but relegation surely shouldn’t be in the mix if you can play like that more often than not.

Surprise surprise, officials now admitting they got the penalty decision wrong. Think we had about 8 apologies from them last season. They can **** off. *****.

VAR is fine, it's the incompetent fools pressing the buttons that are the issue.

Wolves should be fine if they can play like that all season, worrying signs for United.

You just know if that was the Wolves keeper making that challenge, that's a penalty.
