Exactly right. It's very easy to say a player is bad, especially when he hardly touches the ball, and really didn't have much of a role.

Last year he did a pretty decent job did he not? I think he deserve to show if he has any place in this team again, before we jump to the gun and just get rid of him.

Look Perry is the type of guy we could chuck in at 6, 7 or 9 when our main options are injured or need a rest. He doesn't do anything out of the ordinary but doesn't do a lot horribly wrong (except his atrocious kicking game). I am happy for him to be used as he was yesterday as a backup for PJ because Ennis was N/A, the forward motion PJ was giving our plays evaporated as Perry stands a lot more flat footed at dummy half but at least his passes hit the mark and he made one good run so did a good job.
