Okay, this is beginning to get really obnoxious. The channel is called Fox LEAGUE, and the merkins are falling over themselves to talk about anything that isn't Rugby League, namely boxing and dog/horse racing. I'm sure the orders come from higher up the food chain to sell pay per views and scratch the bookies backs.......And frankly people aren't getting pissed off enough about it.

I throw 25 bucks Kayo's way every month to watch FOOTBALL coverage, not to be told which Greyhound is looking the best odds on to win the Bumf**k Plate in bumf**k nowhere.

It's as bad as Tom Waterhouse being in the commentary.

No one gives 2 ***** about greyhound racing but they're shoving it in with fake hype to try to make it a huge betting industry.

Isn't greyhound racing animal cruelty?

It's fucking ridiculous

They spend as much time talking about boxing and some pair of bullshit fighters that no one give a shit about just to remind people that Main Event still exists

Now we get fucking dogs racing... apparently Paps is an ambassador and I see a boxer or UFC fighter has a dog and is also now an ambassador (I'm wondering if they were "gifted" a greyhound as part of that ambassadorship).

I've also noticed that wrestling is apparently now a "sport"... no doubt because Main Event is a money maker, but not getting enough interest. I used to watch a lot of WWE, etc. but I never considered it to be a sport and have never seen it pop up on Fox Sports until last year... no doubt it was all about promoting PPV and Main Event.

I reckon it's all off the back of the micro-transaction economy that's been created... give a game for free (i.e. cross market for free) in the hope that old mate participating will then pay to be a part of it i.e. gambling, PPV's, etc.

They've already got you paying for the "free entertainment" (Foxtel, Kayo, etc.) and now they want you to take part in micro transactions as well.

Greyhound is a rather large betting industry, the sponsorships of the tracks are worth millions.

And most greyhounds are treated, fed and exercised etc better than any other pet. A few bad trainers =/= animal cruelty.

What about viewer cruelty? This channel is wasted on Fox. There’s so much rugby league content out there and nobody is utilising any of it.

I don't disagree that greyhounds shouldn't be on fox league. I disagree on it being a small market and animal cruelty.

Could say the same for horse racing. It's legal though.

Like Horse Racing I don't get Greyhounds, is it a sport?

If so does anyone follow it without being involved in the industry or as a non better?

It just looks like a Animal casino.

Its like horses...but no-one is riding on their back. I've known greyhound owners...its a lifestyle they work hard at. I've never known any of them to be cruel....but thats not to say it doesn't go on.

I think the point here isn't to slag off on greyhound racing....

The fuckwits who bombard us with it .... along with other gambling paraphernalia, whilst trying to watch a game of footy on the TV are the problem.

If it were gambling promos only relating to the game/s being played.......it wouldn't be half as bad.

Who said the free market is good?

The amount of exclusive rights being split with soo many different companies makes it painful for everyone, I'm sure more will come later and split it even more.

The days when you could watch NRL, the EPL and the champions league on fox where the days, now look at this shit.

I agree in general, but simply because of the the owner I don't agree for our market.

I'd rather it split into 50 companies than Newscorp having a complete monopoly on Australian sport.

Hopefully one day they lose NRL rights too.
