Game II Queensland Origin Team

Yeah, I don't know what to make of these selectors. Lockyer was my favourite player, but his commentating is awful and his selections are weird.

Glasby has been a disappointment this year.

Bolton and Kaufusi are both better options. Kaufusi mainly plays second row but he can play prop just as well.

I actually think the selectors have lost the plot if Glasby is ahead in the pecking order. What the **** do they see in him?

It'd even make more sense to just leave Lillyman as cover for Wallace.. He's not the flashiest player going, but he can give you pretty reliable minutes. He's averaging 13 runs for 130 metres for the Warriors, Glasby is at 10 runs for 87 metres..

I'm not sure Kaufusi would be a great pick either, that would leave us in a scenario where we have a Five-Eighth and 3x Second-Rowers on the bench. You can't win an Origin like that, especially against their fucking enormous bench, we'd be pummelled.

and there is no bigger evidence of this than bringing Slater back.

as Bennett said "the QLD selectors thought Boyd was the best option at fullback 3 weeks ago, and he hasn't done anything wrong to lose his spot"

I absolutely agree with this sentiment, people are acting like if Slater was selected for game one we wouldn't have lost, but that just isn't the case... fullback was the least of our issues in game 1.

our forward pack was the issue. while they may have fixed that with some of the reported drops, but they put so much more pressure on the pack by dropping Oates as they now have no one in the backline that can help our forwards out and make plenty of territory for us.

we had better hope that NSW leave some half gaps that the likes of Slater, Holmes and Gagai can slice through.

Walters is rattled. Oates was pretty good in Origin 1. If he thought Holmes was better why not just pick him in Origin 1.

Guerra again is a shocking selection.

It's almost like the selectors forgot how we lost in game 1.

Foxsports reporting that Tim Glasby may be selected. I will vomit if he is. Bolton, Lawrence, Sims, Kaufusi, etc are surely all ahead of him, ****, he'd be one of the last blokes I'd pick.

EDIT: Guerra still in the team? I dno if i can cop the abuse from my NSW mates if I watch this with them in person...

Although Cooper is an OK selection with JT in the team - he should be thanking JT for the rest of his life for the rep jerseys - I'd still prefer Kaufusi in the team playing 80. He's more of a threat, and it means we can pick a more aggro bench. Papa should move to 13 and play more mins as well.
