Post your predictions and lineups.

Broncos by 22 points. Hodges FTS. Lockyer MOTM

1.Hunt
2.Robinson
3.Michaels
4.Hodges
5.Boyd
6.Stagg
7.Wallace
8.Hannant
9.Marsh
10.Eastwood
11.Thaiday
12.Sims
13.Carroll
14.Lockyer
15.Taylor
16.Ennis
17.Perry

Only changes that had to be made were for those injured IMO. They played great as a team yesterday.

1. Hunt
2. Robinson
3. Hodges
4. Michaels
5. Boyd
6. Stagg
7. Wallace
8. Hannant
9. Ennis/PJ Marsh
10. Thaiday
11. Eastwood
12. Sims
13. Carroll

14. Lockyer
15. Kenny
16. Taylor
17. PJ Marsh/Perry *depending on Ennis playing

1. Hunt
2. Robinson
3. Hodges
4. Michaels
5. Boyd
6. Stagg
7. Wallace
8. Hannant
9. Marsh
10. Sims
11. Thaiday
12. Eastwood
13. Carroll

14. Lockyer
15. Taylor
16. Kenny
17. Ennis

1. Hunt
2. Robinson
3. Hodges
4. Michaels
5. Boyd
6. Lockyer (I see it as a waste of bench positions especially with 10 interchanges rather than 12 to have a player of Locky's calibre to come on after a few minutes)
7. Wallace
8. Hannant
9. Ennis/PJ Marsh
10. Sims
11. Kenny (Has the endurance much like Parker to play out a full 80 minute game)
12. Stagg
13. Eastwood

14. Thaiday (Better off the bench)
15. Taylor
16. Carroll (See Thaiday)
17. PJ Marsh/Perry

1. Hunt
2. Robinson
3. Michaels
4. Hodges
5. Boyd
6. Lockyer (as effective as a coming off the bench may become for Lockyer, we can't waste an interchange if Parker is gonna be out)
7. Wallace
8. Hannant
9. Ennis/Marsh
10. Thaiday
11. Stagg
12. Sims
13. Carroll

14. Eastwood
15. Taylor
16. Kenny
17. Marsh/Perry

If Parker can play, drop Sims to the bench and drop Kenny out.
If Hannant AND Parker can't play (hope to god this isn't the case), what other forwards do we have?

1.Lockyer
2.Robinson
3.Michaels
4.Hodges
5.Boyd
6.Hunt(PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE !! :P)
7.Wallace
8.Hannant
9.Marsh
10.Eastwood
11.Thaiday
12.Sims
13.Carroll
14.Stagg
15.Taylor
16.Ennis
17.Perry

I am assuming here that both Parker and Clinton will be ruled out

1. Hunt
2. Robinson
3. Michaels
4. Hodges
5. Boyd
6. Lockyer
7. Wallace
8. Sims
9. Ennis
10. Hannant
11. Thaiday
12. Stagg
13. Carroll

14. PJ Marsh
15. Eastwood
16. Taylor
17. Kenny

I have read than Hannant may miss the game, if that is the case move Thaiday to prop, Eastwood to second row and bring Palmer Wapau to the bench. if Ennis is still injured move Marsh to hooker and bring Joel Moon to the bench.

Two backs and a hooker on the bench

First round injuries happen every year. It's just a medical fact that players are more prone to major injury earlier in the year before they've adjusted to the bump and grind of the season.

I hope Hannant plays, losing both of our props would be a big blow..

I noticed he was wearing some heavy strapping on the thigh, hes had that injury for a while now...

Here go, its official: http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/ ... 23,00.html

All these first round injuries (not just for us) aren't painting a pretty picture for the limited interchange!
I can't think of any of the major injuries that were sustained over the weekend having anything to do with the new interchange rule. They were mostly unlucky incidents that would have happened regardless of the time in the game or how many interchanges a team was able to make. In fact, quite a few were in the initial stages of the game ie. Wing, Marshall, Price, Clinton, Simpson etc.

Can't be bothered doing a big list - Taylor and Kenny to cover Parker/Clinton.

Robinson dropped, Hewitt or Kemp on.

Broncos by 42.

I think Hewitt got injuried for Wynnum on the weekend Mick, I'd leave Robinson for another week at least.

I was kidding anyway mate, I think Robinson went quite well tbh. But Denan was dropped after a far superior debut, so it could happen [icon_wink

At the risk of the Beads' of the board ripping into me, I think Brisbane will struggle to beat the chooks with so many forwards out. AFAIK the chooks are at full strength and at home. I'll be tipping against my heart this week

p.s. I'd love to see Wapau get a go

Well, mate, I tipped the Panthers last round so I'm saying nothing!

Been a fair while since the Goosters beat us on Good Friday IIRC.
