Yes, exactly. A journalist's job is to chase leads on potential stories. As soon as you've heard that James Roberts was 'in an incident' at a club it wouldn't take many phone calls to find out who was involved.

I would only let him go if we had another signing ready to go with his funds, and I mean for this season. If we don't then he can rot in Qcup for all I care, I just don't want to see another Barba situation.

I met David Stagg for the first time at the Dunda at 2am Friday morning a couple of years ago (me and mates were following on from a day getting pissed at the cricket). It was the first pre-season after he retired, but hes married with a couple of kids. And he's 30+ at the time
