Well, it's not terrible, other than the terrible halves obviously.

That sucks bad but I still feel it can be substituted and I pretty sure it's just for game 1 at least. I heard Tariq Sims is close to a call up and I reckon he will be a very good replacement for Cordner.

A couple of really good hits last night suggest Sims is getting back to his damaging best.

I actually hope Sims is picked. He has shown in the past it can be easy to get under his skin.

A new guy in a high pressure arena with Thurston and co slamming his face into the ground. It could get ugly...

It would be funny if it was true. NSW still haven't learned their lesson.

They did that last year with the Roosters, and the halves are one of the major reasons why they lost...

Well, as far as I'm concerned it's a step up from Pearce and Maloney, lol.

That's about the only good thing you can say about it though.

The Bulldogs have been winning most of their games in the last few minutes or by narrow margins. Origin almost always goes down to the wire and their composure and expirience in these situations may get them the spot.

Both are in good form as well which helps

NSW won't have a chance with all these injuries
1 Josh Dugan (I think having both him and Hayne in the team will benefit their attack)
2 Daniel Tupou
3 Jarryd Hayne
4 Josh Morris
5 Brett Morris
6 Josh Reynolds
7 Trent Hodkinson/Luke Brooks
8 Aaron Woods
9 Robbie Farah
10 Andrew Fifita
11 Willie Mason
12 Luke Lewis
13 Paul Gallen
14 Nigel plum (Someone similar who can hurt us in defense)
15 James Tamou (Shouldn't be there but will get selected)
16 Trent Merrin
17 Nathan Peats
18 Mitch Aubusson

Dugan is too Hoffman-like for Origin. Too individual. Hayne is the best ball playing fullback in the comp, and his and Farah's creativity will be needed to make up for their nuffy halves.

I agree and I would have Hayne at fullback but they don't have any centres who do anything at Origin level. Jennings is shit and Idris is too sporadic with his good games.

That's true, but I think Hayne is too important at fullback to be moved now. The only fullback I'd consider ahead of him would be Stewart, who is also quality link man and a very safe player, but I think he's injured.

Next year, or possibly later this series they could start considering guys like Wighton and Hoppa in the centres.

Stewart is playing tonight.

I don't think he will be playing Origin ever again, not unless there are injuries.
