Melbourne must have so much of their cap tied up in the 1,6,7,9. It means the storm forward pack is really nothing special at all. Apart from Neslon and Welch the others really have limited credentials.

When you play Melbourne you've gotta bash their forward pack. Don't allow them any go forward and dont give the 1,6,7,9 anything to play off. Those 4 will tear you to shreds all day if you let them.

Get on top of the forward pack, and get it wide like Souths just did and there is points on offer vs Melb, who's centres are solid but not amazing.

The average pack is probably why they look to be wrestling even more than usual this season to slow down the opp teams ptb as much as possible.
