Piakura is not having a good night which is fair enough, he's still so young but I wonder whether it might be worth giving him a break for Gosiewski early. I think Billy going off so early has messed up the rotations again.

Majority of Eels passes are forward yet, Sutton turning a blind eye to them. He’s 200% interested in pinging us & trying to take the game away from us.

**** Gunaine in Fox commentary.
I like the fox viewing but have to mute, I make my own commentary up. Misses and mates hate me for broncos games

Funny though, if you just switched on and saw the score, you'd think we've been going really well. The scoreline definitely should not look like that.

59-41% in possession their way
6-1 penalty count their way
150 more run metres their way
28 tackle breaks to 11 their way
10-1 offloads their way
11-28 missed tackles

We've been atrocious, getting smashed by the ref...and lead by 10.
I think we're doing exactly what people here called for, and defending well. I think we've been patient and reserved for the most part in attack, and I'm expecting it to open up in the 2nd half in our favour. We got this.

Apart from Smoothy having more first half minutes, it's evened out now

I think so too but if we up against a good team, I don't think our defense would have held up so well.

Offloads are going to kill us.

Parra have been throwing it around since the start of the game. Lots of offloads and second faze play. It looked like they have been trying to tire us out since the beginning.

We have been able to capitalize on their errors, which they haven't.

I can’t get my head around how stupid & dumb is Jarred Maxwell & co. in sending memo to all the clubs to abide whatever bullshit calls the reffs make. Preposterous.

Wow, that is as fluky as you get.

Diabolical start. We look spent.

any one know if we have made some changes in our training program this year? because it has been a consistant thing all year that we always look less energetic then out opposition but we manage wins through individual brilliance
Given finals football is guaranteed for us this year, we're just treating rounds 1-27 as a pre season for the finals. Will benefit us at the end of the year.
