Held the Dally M medalist and top attacking team in the comp to one try each half... off the back of their bye, at their home, and with 4 players backing up from origin 3 days earlier.

I was one of the doubters that Piakura was named instead of Jensen.
he was great and damn it was good to see the old thoroughbred Oatesy lumbering down the field again. He was immense in attack and defence

took Nicko’s time away. Not easy to do, because he actually is a good player.

I thought on the whole we put away the stupid high risk plays and it showed. We still made errors but they were easy to contain. Very good game.

This past month was the test we've all been waiting for, and before the start of the season I reckon a lot of people would have predicted we'd be 1 from 4 at the very least.

2 from 4 isn't a bad effort considering we were missing Reyno for 1 and 3/4 games.

Pats had 2 pretty big games this week. Had a lot of work to do for Queensland as well as for us tonight.

Oates with his carries & experience showed again just how influential he is to the side.

Our scramble defence was immense, however our line speed was a bit off & put us under pressure. Hynes was allowed to do what he wanted most the night.

Piakura was much better & showed off his footwork, his defence is still bit questionable, he went low a fair bit and didn’t always stop the tackle. I still don’t think Jensen should be making way for him, Taupau is behind him imo.

Billy was very strong. Soo too Staggs.

I dunno why Kevvie had both Haas & Patty off at the same time.

We probably didn’t take our chances early in the game when we had the weight of possession, we still struggle a bit putting on try’s from a set start.
