Just watched the game **** me how good was that. We certainly don't do things easy do we!!!!
So impressed with the effort, especially after the poor start. But the game should have been over at half time. Definitely left 2 if not 3 tries out there.
Agree with all the analysis on here as regards our best players on the night. One of the main things I took out of the game is we need to get the ball in Jimmy Robert's hands more often. **** he's lethal when fatigue sets in.

What a fantastic game. The forwards were outstanding, all of them. Really stuck it to Scott and LoLo and show d them who's boss.

Milford was a completely different player last night, he was tackling and tackling hard, great job..

Just a great all round performance from everyone. They knuckled down and got the job done. Stick it to those Mexican journos!!

Another thing, was great to see the bench get excited as well when we scored or even got close, jumping around, good enthusiasm.

while i certainly love hearing that, i am skeptical when players say shit like that these days as we have all seen too many times players say the line then leave when the huge offers come in ...

and if TPJ keeps developing and improving on his performance last night he will get some BIG offers
Plus he is from Sydney which means he is familiar with the place and would have no trouble in heading back down. He only came to the Broncos because of Bennett and if the coach decides not to stay beyond 2019 then what would keep him here? Brisbane's lack of humidity or Logan's vibrant restaurant scene? Dollar signs often override what is said in a brief interview after a dramatic upset win. I'm hoping he sticks around but the Bennett factor will play a big part in his future in Brissy.

the woman on MMM just said the Cowboys gave away more penalties and had less possession ... WTF, did she even watch the game, or even look at the stats before going on air

And let me guess, no one corrected her?

... The complete opposite is true with the penalties, wasn't it 11-5 penalty count against us?

The Broncos only had 43% possession which shocked the hell out of me. This is one match where the stats are totally misleading (including the score). The Broncos were clearly the better side and looked dangerous with ball in hand. The lopsided penalty count kept the margin from being 20+. A lot of encouraging signs last night. The caller is obviously a Cowboy fan and from my experience, they are the least knowledgeable fans out there.

For once he actually gave the Broncos and Bennett some credit ... but couldn't resist a slight dig at Bennett saying how he is under pressure, because for the first time ever the club are talking to other coaches

And let me guess, no one corrected her?

that would be correct

Ignoring the fact that Wayne is nearing 70 and may have told the club he wants to retire soon?

EDIT: the cows fans call their starting forwards the “Wolfpack”. I said it last night to my mates, but I would support any team bar the storm against them in a hypothetical GF, including the roosters. **** me dead their vocal fans are bell ends, which is a shame because those I’ve met that actually live in NQ are decent people.

AND they’re attacking JT. Without him they lose by 20+ last night

A big difference last night was our defensive line speed. We were up fast and in their faces. This kind of enthusiasm is infectious and as a consequence we looked far better in attack as well.

Surely WB can see this "let's sit back on our heels and wait for them" defence strategy doesn't work.....and should be geeing them up for the defensive effort we put in last night for each and every week.

I was at the game, he was playing possessed. Had a feeling it was he who coathangered JT too. We need more of that, doesn’t matter who they are, just lay them out

Anyone got vision of JT's shoulder charge?
I'm sure it's been deleted from existence by now. Apparently the NRL is considering changing to NFL style goal posts by as soon as next week as well

I haven’t seen us get the bounce of the ball like that since Alfie had it on a string!

How good was Isaako’s drop out to Kahu - that was the momentum shift we needed to get going. If we don’t get the ball back it’s probably game over for us. Also his kick-offs were awesome, he can move the ball like Feldt - and very satisfying to see Feldt get turned inside out by one. Muwahaha!

While I’m happy with the result, I’m so over these close cowboys games.
