Media (probably): yeah but broncos only beat a south’s team without Mitchell so they aren’t contenders. And they haven’t beaten any top 4 teams except for Penrith but that doesn’t count because they were tired and the fact there are only 2 other teams to beat in the top 4 because they’ve been in the top 4 all year. None of it counts and they didn’t have to leave Queensland much and stuff like that.

Sounds like some Bronco fans, honestly...

Feels like the big difference to this time last year - besides twelve months' experience - is Reyno healthy and confident. I don't think he ever really came back from that Canberra game last year.

Walsh doesn't hurt either.

Unsure if it was a tactic or not in the first half with Cobbo/Staggs jamming in to make Walkers only option to play long to Johnson because we seemed to cover that quite well and probably put Walker off abit.
A play late in the game with Herbie going across field and linking up with Cobbo running a hole would love to see more of that.

Super proud of the boys to win that with everything against them.

I might be in the minority here but I feel like all the joy of it has been sucked out by the ref. I should be ecstatic but I just don’t give a **** because you know that eventually the refs will get there way and it will likely be in the finals.

Best attacking performance all year once they clicked.

Staggs attack is starting to come back as he’s getting better ball.

Can’t understand how Arthars gets his head taken off in the first half and doesn’t even get a penalty and then in the second half he gets binned for a high shot on Souths. Then just to rub it in even more, while arthars is in the bin, Souths do two blatant high shots that again go ignored.

It definitely was. Force the wide ball. Staggs was already on his way there. They only did it when they had decent field to cover, not close to try line.

I think people are being a bit harsh on our first half even. We looked the better team, just could not convert. Ok, they learnt from it. Will see that they're better off playing like they did in the second half, but the D was good. The attack just a bit rushed, working Walsh back in and having Carrigan a bit wider too.

They are comparing Marty to RCG and Suaalii who both actually made contact.

It doesnt even look like Campbell Graham even knew what the penalty was for, it was just that his teammates flew in.

Its very dumb, not excusing it, but no contact was actually made.

The media is going to ensure he gets several weeks.
