We have improved ten fold this year. I thought that was a really spirited performance and shows that with a couple of small changes we are a premiership team. Holding onto Fifita is vital.
Well you would expect you to think that given there's a 4 million dollar contract in it for you.

Improved? Lol.

We're about as good, or rather as shit as last year but actually more impotent in attack given the joke that is our spine has actually been worse than last year in every way imaginable. The only bright spot is SOS who has been a forced selection every time has looked really good and who knows, maybe Macca and Boyd might find love in Antarctica and **** off in the preseason so Seibold doesn't have to make some tough team selections.

Is this satire?

Reminder: next week is our last home game of the season proper. Now is the time for Macca and Darius to announce their retirements so we can give them the hometown sendoffs they deserve.

I don’t want to see Boyd in first grade again. All he had to do was fall over the line instead he braces to take a tackle and gets held up.
He was the lazy man in the line to let the 2nd last bunnies try. He was the 5/8 throwing it over the sideline.

If I went to work, braced myself as I drove straight into the bosses car. Intentionally threw my pc out the window after missing a coworker I was aiming at and then proceeded to fall asleep through the only piece of work I had time left to do..... I would likely not have a job the next day. Why should you Darius....why should you...

Milf needs a full preseason training at fullback because right now it's like he's unsure of what position he's trying to play on attack.
I think we did well to hang in there for the most part, but we lose the tackle a lot. Quite a few times our tacklers got off the runner at the same time instead of peeling off, leading to a quick play and that's where Cook made us pay.

As for Fifita...oh boy, he's a problem!!! Mr White, get the TPAs ready for this kid!

Game we definitely should have won that we let slip away.

Refs definitely played a big role in gifting this to Souths in my opinion. BUT...
We blew so many opportunities. (Boyd + Oates, I'm looking at you)

Souths are a bunch of dogs and it was notable that the 2 grubbiest of them were former Broncos... maybe worrying for the culture of the club that there's so much animosity from these guys (or maybe they're just too fired up against their old side?)

I think we all come away with the same read-throughs every week.... Boyd needs to go, we need more from the 9 position, Fifita needs more ball and we need some solid halves to give us direction and structure (particularly inside the 20).

We have all the tools to succeed and an incredible young pack, we are building well and showing alot of promise, but we're going to need to make some tough calls in the off-season, that's for sure.

Oates could have had 3 tries tonight but he thinks he can barge over everyone. Needs more tricks to his game. Seriously he could have dived over cook for the game winner instead of running straight at him.
I seen it differently, Oates leaps when he should of got low and drove in with the hips and kept pushing, which would of been hard to stop.

If Boyd is named in round 1 2020 I quit.

Look I thought we didn't play that bad, we still have big issues with our defensive line but apart from tragic attacking play from Boyd we got alot to take from that game, souths played one of their best games tonight and we had them on the ropes, it gives me confidence that we have another level if need be.

Main Criticisms:
SoS needs to be thinking about plays not running the ball whenever he gets it, he is a half , running when there is a gap is good but running Everytime is stupid he is a small player he will go no where 90% of the time.

Boyd needs to get dropped, his decisions are tragic he had multiple opportunities where if he did a grubber Oates would of scored, instead he gets tackled or passes to the stands.

If we had TPJ in this game we would of sliced this team apart.

Who were they?

No idea, didn't write the names down, there were several who were adamant we were a better team with him at Fullback and that it's comfortably his best position. I'd argue the exact opposite. We should be playing Milford & O'Sullivan in the halves with Isaako (or even Niu, if he's up to it) at Fullback, park Boyd at left centre, get him as far away from the action as we can.

**** Darius off.

Bombed a 4 on 1 by holding onto the ball.. bombed a certain try by not diving at the line. Ruined multiple chances early by going forcing it down short channels when it wasn't on

Cost us probably 12-16 points in attack
