I've never really understood it myself. If your team isn't playing, why wear another teams jersey? I could understand a Qcup jersey or an Origin jersey or something though.

I dont think i've ever been to a Football game in England and seen just a random fan from another team wearing their shirt. They would get lynched!

Selwyn didn't have his finest moment tonight but then I look over at the Cows and they've got million dollar Val getting towelled up by Kotoni for most of the night, basically made no impression on the game other than catching a kick where all the hard work was done for him and knocking over a couple of conversions.

The one exception is Souths I think. Purely because "Random Souths Fan" is a thing.

When little Timmy Deardon retires, premiershipless and with only a single Origin to his name, at least he'll have that ultimately meaningless cover tackle in an eventual loss to think back fondly on....

Should've stuck it out with us. He would be where Ezra is standing right now if he did.

As it is, we've got a halves pairing we can be happy with while he is getting belted by 38, so suck it up champ, you made the wrong call.

Matthew Mcconaughey GIF

Easily one of my favourite movies.

More effort than latrell if we are being real at fullback atleast

He probably does have more effort in terms of him not being lazy, but he hasnt got the big moments in him its possible to get out of Latrell either. If you stick with Latrell as your one, you have to accept that i guess. It can certainly backfire on you though when you arent dominating. You need workrate.

I don't know that he would be.

I can't see Dearden scoring the try that Ezra did tonight and I can't see Ezra making the tackle that Dearden did, although he nearly pulled it off in the first half, maybe without the obstruction he does pull it off.

really is walsh lite lol probably a little safer at the back but you trade away the x factor good call by the club keeping him here this year imo

We won that game early with the Reynolds Riki bomb kick chase, it had Drinkwater rattled and completely off his game.
Our forwards were great, Kobe and Willison off the bench were a great combo provided plenty of impact and hit hard in defence.

The reception for Oates was so good to see, Reynolds started playing both sides of the field but more on the left when he came on. Oates knows how to hit a hole and Reynolds knows that too and it could become a real attacking weapon late in games.

Great player, just not the biggest fan. Wants to score with every touch. The greats set it up, then know when to strike
I get this sentiment… but Walsh is one of the few that could score with every touch

The one thing with Oates compared to our other backrowers tonight is he has a lot more physicality in his runs. I've been on the Oatsey train in the back row, or as a bench player for a while. I think he's a great option.
