Happy for the 2 points but **** that was one of worst performances I've seen for a while. Walsh played shit, Oates was shit, Madden was invisible but we never looked like losing. Pat was enormous, Willison was good, Mam was pretty good, most others were ok.

Hopefully we get some troops back soon so we can get on a run.

Don't want to be too negative because a win is a win, but we really need to work on set completion. Errors will haunt us against the top teams.

On a positive note, Carrigan was everything tonight. Thank God Riki played because we needed PC in the middle.
Cobbo was amazing tonight, especially his hands. When he's focused, he's absolutely elite, we just need to have him in that mindset every week.
Mam's ball playing was great tonight and has been on a tear the past 3 weeks.

We just need to get up against the Raiders next week, then round 8 we could have Haas, Reynolds and Piakura back with us.

Really ordinary performance. Apart from Carrigan, nobody played a good 80 mins, but i thought Willison and Smoothy had good impact from the bench.

I dont think we actually did much wrong in a lot of ways, but we didnt do much right either. Too many simple errors, and our discipline was way off. Need to respect the footy more.

of the starters sure, Cobbo had one bad error the rest was good, Willison off the bench was very good, but Carrigan light years ahead of everyone.

Why does Kev give in to the media pressure. All that talk of Wendell’s son being too good to be in qcup had Kevvie running out a 16 man team essentially.

Sailor on the bench was a waste and didn’t provide anything other than liability in defence

Good performance:
Smoothy: he always shows better hooker skill than waters, the team went smoothly
Cobbo: Not as fast as 2023, but good efforts
Carrigan: Kevin is silly enough not to give him a rest for the 2nd half
Willison: He’s truly the weapon

Bad Performance:
Pillow: Still don’t see why he’s signed, no way near the top 17.
Riki: he’s a bit penalty prone recently, playing tough guy drawing the penalty doesn’t mean he’s playing tough
Oates: He’s the reason our players stopped taking the high balls, transitioning to the 17 or 18 man is a must, he shouldn’t even be the back up winger
Madden: Zero impact on the game management, didn’t even reach Reynold’s bad game bar

Basically we brained them most of the game but only made the most of our opportunities in the 2nd half.

Most played well. Not sold on baker and hunt and I don't think madden will ever have the composure required.

Oates better hope he gets a chance off the bench cause tonight proved he can't be relied on for the wing any longer.

How'd milf avoid the bin in the first half? Was very cynical, the old toy taking it out on the new one...

Hunt was ok. Mariner in for Oates and at least 2 more tries and 3 less errors. Love him far out Mariner so fast and safe

Fletcher baker should never get picked again. Bloke is a total plodder. Willison and Te Kura better

I thought Baker was much better this week (didnt really notice Hunt). Good meters, good defence. Did his job.

But yes, I think he's a bench player at best once everyone else is fit.
