The reality is....there was nothing in it.

The penalty sufficed.
The Milford hit on Walsh? We didn't get a penalty for that during the game. The first infringement was our player being in front of the kicker, so they got the penalty, Milford just got put on report.

I think it's 3 weeks in a row now where a player on the opposing side has been put on report for something that we didn't get any penalty for.

Well, when you have $1 million of your salary cap invested in a declining Prop forward and the same for a single strike centre, you're forced to make roster decisions that...you know...are gunna come back and haunt you..

Rubbish, Jensen had played 77 Cup games since 17-21, he never shone at the Cowboys and only 58 NRL games, he was only getting a fill in gig for seven years. He cost them nothing.

He wanted the change and saw more opportunity at Brisbane. The year before he came down here, he only played eight NRL games.

He's nearly played as many NRL games in two years at Brisbane as he did in five at Cowboys.

He was great for the Blackhawks for a long time but that doesn't win your fans.

I wish Walsh would put in some effort to put the ball down closer to the posts rather than showboating. At least it wasn't as bad as the one against the Cowboys in Townsville last year when he purposefully ran away from the posts so he could do his dive towards the camera and Kotoni missed the kick.

Yep, incredibly dumb considering he would be the one converting it. Luckily he did...

I hate the superman dive .......

Its one of the things that makes me suspect Reece is a bit of a wanker on and off the field.

I could be wrong.

3 times last night offside at the kick on the 5th .
Walsh twice Ezra once . Easy fix . Also way lop sided penalty count 8 -1 .

Watching it at the ground looked like Madden would pause for a second before kicking, not sure how it looks on TV though
Yep where most 7's receive the ball and kick it in one motion Madden for some reason pauses for a second before kicking. That's why at the start of the game he was receiving so much pressure from the kick chasers.

Ah ha .
Doesn`t look delayed , but they were def out of synch . I thought Riki was offside on the initial kick when he toe`d it through for Cobbo to score as well . I was waiting for it to be called back .

So how many weeks does Milford get for his dog shot on Walsh? My guess.....0

if the NRL want to punish The, he'll get a 0 week suspension

if they want to help The, he'll get 2-3 weeks

That bench is insane, having willison and te kura running at you is bad enough, but when you are attacking and you see them so you pick the smaller player to run at (hetherington) and he cuts you in half.

Although our completion rate was way down again, what was noticeably better than last week was the ruck control. This week our defenders were not the last off the ground and dictated the speed of the play the ball. It makes such a difference in arresting the oppositions momentum.
Except it isn't typically our players who get to determine "appropriate" ruck speed, is it? Often there is a bloke with a red shirt running around making these impactful decisions.
