Well, at half time I thought the highlight of the night was going to be seeing old mate that was yelling during the minute silence getting his head punched in.
Then we remembered how to play reasonable footy in the last 30 so it was a double win.
If I can sweet talk the mrs I might get the trifecta!

Just spent a good 10 minutes reading through the meltdown on The Kennel. High quality comedy.

In short:

Sack Barrett
Make Jackson retire
Put Burton to centre
Send Okunbor to Japanese Rugby

This guy wasn’t exactly screaming for equality, he mouthed off during a one minute silence too remember the 100’s of thousands of people who died protecting us from evil shit.

utterly disrespectful. Do you think the lads back then wouldn’t have put one on his chin? Pfft
I honestly don't care what they would have done, it's what they should have done that I care about. Any mug can pop one on the chin of a drunk idiot from the high ground. It takes a lot more to shut the fella up while he is doing it and walk him out of there.

If the ANZACs or Australia becomes authoritarian, then I don't want anything to do with it.

That’s a stretch, the bloke was still going on with it and old mate came over to deal with it. There is also zero chance of just walking that guy out of there.

context man, this isn’t some dude punching someone because he was against non Aryan voters.

Our defence seems to be run up 3 meters and wait. I hate it, I also don’t get the theory behind it, if it is in fact the plan? The team actually looks fit (ish) that can’t be it.

Thoughts?

I honestly don't accept punching someone and pushing down flights of chairs for drunken idiocy. If he doesn't go with reason or under the influence of crowd pressure, there are multiple other ways to deal with it. For example, notifying security or the police. As much as I dislike it, you can even text in to a number to dob in any anti-social behaviour.

If the answer is acting like some tough guy and swinging fists from a row above, then something has gone horribly wrong. Where were all these tough guys to just escort the fella out together? So many waiting until the fella was flat on his back to shout him down.

Again, as shit as it is to disrespect an honouring of past role models, it is also shit to solve such a problem by punching someone in the face.

You know we're living in a society... we're supposed to act in a civilised way!

I entirely get what you’re saying and I’m not saying you’re wrong because you aren’t.

But sometimes people deserve a punch in the mouth.

also from a observation point of view the dogs fan has his jersey tucked in and was of Vietnam War age, could definitely have been a vet. Speculation (of course)

Haas needs to be passing the ball at the line more often. It will make his running game way more effective, keeping the opposition defence in two minds about what he's going to do.

Also wouldn't hurt if he could develop a more consistent offload as well.
