Only time will tell mate. I understand the thought but it’s much more beneficial if we can find a guy who can cover the back row and centres well. Oates is not that guy.
Well until you find that guy, Oates is it.

I think Kevvie will pick 3 forwards and a hooker. I think the fella from the Cowboys who is coming down is a fair shout for that last bench spot tbh

I think considering almost a year ago to the day (a day off) Jock had one of the worst individual performances I have ever seen from him to last night the improvement he has made is very impressive. Obviously he is no Adam Reynolds yet but if we can get more growth like that out of him over the next season and a half well we will be in a good spot. Shame he got the injury albeit likely nothing major, was starting to look the goods.

Well got the madden double right just not the method in scoring, what's all the fuss over arey and walsh cramping?

I'm satisifeid with that win. Consider the competitive portion of the game (first 70 minute) we kept our opposition scoreless whilst defending resolutely and then backing our offensive game to strike from anywhere on the field.

Thats a potent combination of game states.

One of these games, we shall finish with the same fit 17 that took the field.

Shout-out to Madden - great game.

...also, shout out to a great turn out at Campeltown.

At least 30% of the crowd were Brisbane supporters too i reckon, maybe more?

How times have changed for us on these southern trips.

Yeah I noticed that, pretty vocal support.

He didn't look much chop against us last time.

Well Mum keeps on changing the subject about last night. 😂😂 well that is what she gets going for that team I have given her so many opportunities to become a broncos supporter

TBH.....I would have assumed Reecye/Broncos staff would be addressing his cramps long before last night's game.
We're calling it "cramps" but it might be "spasms."

A cramp comes out of the blue, is painful as **** and needs to be sorted stat. Once it's released by stretching the right surrounding muscles, it's immediately better. That's generally what the physios are doing when they're farting around with their legs.

Leg spasms are tricker. They can feel fine, then suddenly grab and you feel like your back is gone. Again, you need to stretch muscles but they can come straight back with exertion.

Maybe my definitions and remedies aren't textbook - not a physio - but they're not the same thing in my experience.

I think the media calling what these blokes are getting "cramps" is a bit of shorthand. Like calling a cold, the flu.

Yea I'm inclined to believe it's diet as well.
Too much pre-workout or something similar maybe.
Could be a combination of things.
I just know if you are amped as **** for 80 minutes, your body does some funky shit like puking and cramping.

Interesting in.any case.
I don't know the guy at all or have any insight into the medical team, but I wonder if his diet is on point. Yeah you can 100% run yourself to vomiting exhaustion, I've done it before many times, but I personally found it happened more with a shitty diet than when I ate and trained properly. He seems to be cramping and throwing up most weeks - it's not like he's the only bloke in the NRL to be getting around the park like that.

It could've happened, but I don't recall the likes of Slater throwing up/cramping on the reg.

I'd be putting it down to diet or at least try and change things up and see how it goes.
Every players body works different, someone like Brian To'o smashes cans of coke before a game and is a beast.
I'd imagine with how good Reece is with his natural talent his diet wouldn't be his number one priority but that's just a wild guess.
When I used to play I'd cramp up like Walsh and all I needed to do is smash some magnesium tablets the night before a game and I'd be sweet.
I'm sure the clubs diet team is right on top of this but getting Reece to try something different leading up to the game wouldn't hurt.
