When you see this team put it together for 20 mins you realise.... there is no team that can go with us if we put 80 mins together and are injury free. Not well played tonight but **** we have some talent and are well coached..

Ps. No team includes Penrith (terrible 60 mins in gf and we still nearly won)

Thats why i think we suffered aginst Penrith when Reece went off. When you lose players who put the opposition in 2 minds, you become very easy to defend against because you dont have that fear factor.

I hate how the media are quick to compare the next big thing to past glories, but not since the Alfie in the 90s Broncos have I felt like this watching our team. As a kid even if we were losing by 20 with 15 to go you always thought you were going to win. I’m starting to get that feeling with these guys. The only other team I’ve felt like that watching is the 8 straight QLD team. We just have to win a prem now to cement that feeling, until we do it’s all for nothing.

That left side of ours is looking so dangerous with Piakura and Cobbo coming into their own.
Who do you put numbers on?
Cobbo? Mam? Piakura? Or Walsh sweeping out the back?

Another scrappy game from us in attack but we’ve stilL scored plenty of points. Very pleased with our defence. Our forward pack is in real good shape moving forward with Willson really stepping up. He’s gonna be huge for us during Origin.

Hoping Jock Madden isn’t too bad of an injury because he was really good and is a good backup for us.

Feel sorry for madden. Hope it's not pec bcos he was proving everyone wrong with his last 2 performances. Was actually thinking 50 mins in that with arey always limping Penrith and storms grubby tactics, and him probably being able to cover hooker for 20 mins I would honestly consider him for a bench spot.

Another good win but gee some of our errors are going to kill us against other top 4 teams. Corey Oates looks to be just too slow to be a winger anymore and once Cobbo comes back should be our 17. Another good game from Willison and Haas looked fitter than before he got injured.

We really need to be able to close out games and got really loose at the end without Carrigan out there. Arthurs really is our Mr Fixit and is one of our better players week in week out.

Absolutely sensational. Did it on one leg, in agony and all he can think about is stopping the play. I would have been happy if he just knocked it, but he actually regathered then offloaded. Just nutty stuff.

To be up 30 something points with 15 to go and leave both Reynolds and Walsh on was borderline negligent.

Kevvie has done a lot of things right and become a very good coach, but he’s still absolutely clueless about stuff like this. He needs to be more aware, or the assistant coach should be flagging it. I would have rather finish the game with 11 players than keep our 2 most important players out there for absolutely no reason.

Just asking for trouble.
