Abysmal first half pretty much just set us up for disaster
You cannot pay a guy like Walsh a million plus a year to kick the ball on zero tackle, run sideways and throw the ball over Ricky’s head or over the sideline
Regardless of how brilliant he can be…
We seem to just have so many dumb players in our side
It’s so frustrating

Game result was disappointing but with the amount of things to overcome, it just wasn’t our night. Not the end of the world.

Reynolds done for the season IS the end of the world, or at least the end of our season.

Unfortunately felt like it was a matter of when, not if, all year.

Not our year, fellas.

What a horror night. Walsh was off his head in the first half and killed all our momentum. We finally had them shot at 18 all but then the sin bin and Ezra hia put the nail in the coffin.

Tedesco just schooled walsh on how to be an elite fullback. Reynolds is cursed this year, every game he’s looked like getting a season ending injury and it’s finally caught him.

I think with Reyno out for long, best case we are a top 6 team by finals, we will need to be atleast that to make anything from this season imo.

Look, I’m usually a negative Nancy when it comes to broncos losses. For some reason I’m not too concerned for tonight.

The commentary is sucking off the roosters like it’s nobody’s business but truly any team would have beaten us tonight considering the injuries.

I’ve got no qualms with refereeing tonight;
Mariner deserved his binning and we might have even got away with another later in the evening.

We got injury screwed and broncos footy screwed.

Yeah this season he seemed way to broken.

I feel like this is karma for Arey saying we don’t need walker. I didn’t want to comment on his comments but I felt like it was extremely arrogant and we haven’t been good this year, he’s also missed a chunk of a very early season and now looks gone.

We kinda do need walker…..
Who do we lose to get him?

We don’t need Walker because we couldn’t fit him into our salary cap if we tried

I'd like to blame the absolute bullshit sin-binning. It wasn't a binning when Penrith did it and took our player out. But tonight it is? **** right off you fucking corrupt scum.

It wasn't even on losing Reynolds. Or Arthars.

That loss was on Walsh, and the cocky little **** needs to pull his head in. Hold the fucking ball, build pressure, stop kicking early in the set. I was hoping the chips at the start of the game were to keep the Roosters defenders holding off (meaning there will be more space later when going the same way), but it means **** all if you don't hold the ball and never earn the follow-up opportunities. I said it a couple of weeks ago, if they haven't reigned him in yet, it'll be harder and harder as time goes on. Maybe Kev is playing 4D chess and was waiting for a loss to bring Walsh back down to earth, but this game has thrown in too many other excuses.

He looks good against poor teams. Definitely not worth the million dollar number yet

Fucking take a deep breath guys. Literally everything went against us that game. We would be playing without Reyno in the near future anyway. Need Rogers or Madden to come in and do there job and let Walsh and Mam step up like they were. Even after everything that went against us we maybe win it if Mam doesn’t go off for a phantom HIA.

There needs to be some accountability for the independent doctor and this shit. Mam was shocked when he was told and came back on as soon as the 15 minutes was gone.

I have to say now, the one thing more erratic than Walsh.... is BHQ after a loss:

I'm not even angry about the game now, that's gold.

Terrible and disgusting game however I would not say it’s season over. We have some talent in that team, they just need to be cohesive, work as a team and they can make it very far.

Walsh specifically needs to cut this hot potato footy he is doing, it’s not working and he’s taking it out on the other players.

They are the underdogs now, everyone will be writing them off so maybe that’s a good thing, the expectation won’t be high. I feel like they’ve struggled since round 1 with the big expectations that’s been on them.

Staying positive and onto the next round!
