Said that rules are rules and the NRL need to take the 2 points off us or it will set a precedent. Said if they don’t take the 2 points off us there is nothing to stop the Roosters for example signing SBW in GF week and playing him which is a terrible example.

It's the same as those stupid calls to take away the win when the 7 tackle set happened. The NRL made the mistake rather than us trying to cheat.

He was named on the Tuesday before the game so if the NRL had an issue they had ample time to tell us so.

I mean I would agree with him...maybe....if it was some sneaky shit we did. But the NRL and Roosters gave their blessing.
