Yeah of course they are, I agree they don't really care but it's a business and when you're getting paid 1m a year you need to know when to shut your mouth publicly no matter what you really think.

So I would personally have Israel back in a heart beat. Despite him being an out of touch fuckwit, he's an elite level athlete that can find the line.

He'll likely end up in France or Japan somewhere making 2m a year. He could have done it intentionally... I mean who the **** wants to play for the wallabies anyway?

It's not hypocrtical at all.

FYI, Payne Haas is a Muslim, Ben Hannant was a very public Christian. It's nothing to do with what faith the players have, it's what messages they want to put out there publicly while they are signed in a public position with a public company that has to answer to sponsors, fans and as a business must be diverse or they lose a whole lot of money.

They can believe whatever they want to believe but when he's put out stuff like that in public and been given a warning and met with the CEO then goes out and posts basically the same thing again, he's not only disrespecting large portions of society, he's directly disobeying his employer who are spending 1m a year on him and all they ask in return is not be a PR nightmare for them and to play some footy.

Lets not forget to that he also represents his country on a regular basis, being an ambassador of our country you’d think a professional athlete earning big dollars playing a professional sport would apply commonsense when making public statements, how obnoxious and ignorant is he to think that publicly spewing homophobic nonsense would be publicly accepted.

Well done to the ARU, and lets hope the NRL stand by their word

I really struggle to see why Milford suits the modern day game for a Fullback. Physique, strength and outright speed are not there. He also doesn't have the hip strength to bust through. The only benefit i see of him as a fullback is in attack hovering around, this is not something other fullbacks cannot do.

So he just has to toe the line, and cant say or do anything that would upset the apple cart?

Wasn’t this his last warning though? I’m sure he’s been warned multiple times before

I’m sorry but in this instance you can’t teach stupid

Should it have been his last chance though? He's allowed an opinion. He's not done anything violent against anyone. He's just expressed views, albeit publicly, that are consistent with the majority of religions around the world.

How does Milford still get picked and Nikorima gets dropped? Did you watch the game tonight? Nikorima was one of the best players for us. That ball to Oates and the try he scored. Country miles ahead of Milford
Exactly! Kodi has been playing heaps better than milf and most likely worth a quarter of his salary. He would of setup 2 great tries, including that beaut cutout. Milf cant even throw like that , his is just a slow floater. Kodi looks much more threatening with ball in hand too. Bird and Boyd swap.

Someone suggested Folau as an option at fullback.

His religious standpoint was an apparent con to this suggestion.

Further discussion on this is relevant to the thread.

It's on topic. We're discussing the fullback position and Folau is on the market. It's not a religion discussion, it's a Folau discussion.

He doesn't.......he's a half.

6. Milford
7.
9. Turpin
14. Kodi

We'd win more games than we'd lose......

I'm of the view point that Jamayne Isaako is being wasted on the wing. Jamayne is a wonderful kick returner with good speed and amazing foot-work and he just doesn't have the room on the wing to showcase that. Consistensy was his biggest problem in the Queensland Cup, but I'd like to think he's improved since 2017 and could be a genuine weapon at 1.

I've seen @Wolfie criticise him for not having a passing game, and while I agree his ball-playing skills aren't fantastic, he isn't exactly lacking in the skills department. I thought he moved the ball quite well when he played for the Magpies and the numbers back that up, he just doesn't take the ball to the line as well as others. At least he didn't two years ago.
