I feel like a real idiot here even though I've been a full on Broncos fan since the beginning. Why does Tallis hate Wayne so much, is it because he made him play a year longer than he wanted to or is it something else. Please enlighten me .

I don't think either of them has ever said. I've always wondered too.

i reckon your over reacting to his comment, you do realise he is a titan anbassador? imagine if he said he didnt want them to win!!!!

tallis gave everything he had to the club for many years, captain, premierships and a busted neck in the end.
he doesnt hat the club, its more of the bennett issue and the fact that the titans aporocahed him to help them out.

Yeah I already said he was a Titans ambassador in the post that you quoted, so I am going to go out on a limb and say I do realise that.

Obviously he isn't going to say he hopes they lose, but he wasn't asked what he hoped would happen, he was asked what he thought would happen.

His little feud with Bennett is pathetic, it is completely his choice but I reserve my right to judge him for it. I'm sure Tallis doesn't give a **** what myself or any other fan thinks, but if you go and become an ambassador for a rival to the club that you played nearly your whole career at, captained and became a legend at; it's fair enough that some fans might not be wanting to shower you in praise and high fives.

I'm not 100% sure about it but it's got something to do with the fact Gordie wanted to retire but Bennett said the team needed him to finish the year, not sure the full extent but he now hates him.

I don't know the full story, but I think it was something to do with Tallis being benched in one of the later games of his career and something about playing on too long. I don't know for sure.

Someone with better memory will have a better explanation.

Something like this, and then the moment he retired, he felt as if Bennett dropped him like a spent force and effectively cut ties.

Full strength, the titans are fucked

That's an optimistic lineup, I'd much rather we give Kahu and Oates another week or two rest, it's the Titans, we don't need to rush anyone back.

I'm sure the club wouldn't risk long-term injuries to either Oates or Kahu if they weren't 100% right to play.

If Oates or Kahu miss out who's next in line? Would be Maranta?

This game last year is the game Milford clicked. Hopefully Hunt has a similar game.

Oates back already? That's surprising.

im not sure the full story has or ever will come out, but an old story thats pops up relates to when tallis had his neck issue and wayne pressured him into playing even though he knew the predicament tallis was in and the potential worst case scenario that luckily never unfolded. how true that is we will never know unless tallis publicly came forward. the other story dates way back to when kevvy, lazarus and belcher were assistant coaches and got the sack and talllis questioned wayne around this, but again who knows.
tallis is still very good mates with the old bronco boys he played with etc, its just the bennett issue overall.

I hope that list changes. I don't see the point in risking Oates or Kahu. It didn't work when Gillette or Read was running around with a limp arm and it didn't work last week with Kahu. We have any number of reserves that can play those positions and it would be good for both them and the team to ensure we have depth when we need it.

yeah same.. not sure what the go is with all these massively quick returns from lay offs..

surely the med crew are on top of shit so must be kosher, and yeah they wind the media up/give blown out-worse case forecasts.. you'd think anyone coming back from injury would benefit 1more week out than 1 less. this aint the EPL they arent getting paid the combined GDP of oman and cyprus or anything!

yeah just hoping i dont hear about some HGH or peptide shit next year lol. or calves blood! : )

OP has been updated.

I have no idea how this Titans side has been winning games, they have no right to be with this roster.

They've been playing well. All four of their matches have been strong team efforts, even if the Storm game showed their limitations. Ryan James would be a big blow but I think he will get off (and should get off).

If we play like we did two weeks ago we will lose.

I want to see our forwards play more up tempo than they have been (Gillett and McGuire aside), and Hunt to bounce back of course.

I honestly can't see the club risking such key players against the Titans
