Are you really going to take comparisons made against Macca as legit... Matt Keating could be thrown into the broncos 9 and no doubt there would be comments of

"you know what Keating's service was pretty good out there probably better than Macca"
"he got through a mountain of work in the middle and looked solid... could be an option moving forward"
"finally some competition for Macca"

when watching on the tablet, the video feed dropped out constantly having to restart the app to get it back.

also the fact that regardless of the size screen i'm watching it on (whether PC, Tablet or Phone), the screen size for the live feed was always limited to about 10"

You need to subscribe to Foxtel and watch it on your big screen. A fan as dedicated and knowledgeable as you deserves to watch every game. I have had Fox since the Super League days, you can't follow the sport properly without it. Plus the Crime Channel is good value, those Americans sure know how to commit a murder.

I'd love to ... but IMO Foxtel is a massive rip off. if Foxtel play/Go allowed me to just get the sports package as a stand alone, i would consider it (especially during the NRL season), but last time i tries to sign up it made me get their basic package first and the sports on top, costing me another $25 a month for something i had no interest in.

IMO, Foxtel are losing plenty of customers by doing that sort of thing ... then they complain about illegal streaming services. and even if they were able to eradicate all other illegal streaming services they still wouldn't be able to compete with the likes of Netflix and Stan etc.

but that's for another thread ... I'm just looking forward to seeing our boys kick some Kiwi ass

No, I just looked back at the comments made after Waddell played for us. The overwhelming majority of them were complimentary with several posters stating that they were very surprised. Like so many others they had an opinion without actually looking at the facts and evidence. He was very good for us aside from his first 40 minutes of football in the top grade. In one match he was close to ,if not the best on ground that day.

Am I the only one who really looks forward to seeing the makeup and performance of our origin period teams ?

I've always felt that a stout performance, even a losing one at that, makes me feel good about the team generally. I like seeing the lesser lights proudly defending the teams honour and I even occasionally feel the thrill of the underdog having a win against the odds. These games I anticipate with the sense of having nothing to lose. What's even better is the exposure and experience it gives to guys who aren't always there.

Similarly I just like seeing new players in the team and how they go, along with the rest of a mostly rookie side. Either known future 17'ers or the left-field selections that have a red hot crack. Plus it's always nice to claim players that leave and become (good) regulars at other clubs. Although aside from Taylor, they've been few and far between lately.
