Put's it perfect
The bumbling Broncos kept Canterbury in the contest, Moga’s tunnel vision bombing a certain try before Jonus Pearson dropped it cold over the line, but all that did was delay the inevitable.
And he could of passed to Nikorima but had the ball stripped when he ran it instead

Did I hear right about some of the Nine commentators complain of the low turnout for the game. Over 24,000 went! For any other team (especially the NSW teams), that would be a "super" turnout.

F' the NRL; it's only because of the most commercially successful club running around that you're making any money at all.
Not sure, I have foxtel... but the Thursday night games are going to hammer our crowd attendance.

I would probably go if they were a 7.00 kick off but 8.00 means I have to hang around town for 3 hours... the timeslot is just idiotic and all so channel 9 can play a current affair at 7.00... yes that glorious piece of journalistic integrity a current affair

Goal line defence showed a real pride in their line.

Good bit of coaching, I asked before the game what was the go with Kodi at the back and JD's answer was watch him combine with the halves.

The other thing that impressed me was the Broncos' and Kahu's catching of kicks. Very improved.

Kahu is one of the best in the business and taking those spectacular bomb defusals, but I can't help but be extremely nervous every time he attacks the ball like that, does he have to attack them all so hard? It feels like it's a 50/50 chance every time he goes up, it's either going to be a spectacular catch or a dropped ball with Kahu nearly breaking his neck on the landing, I feel like he could reign it back in a touch and be just as effective.

McGuire wasn't his usual self out there, statistically speaking.

Did he get a HIA? 11 runs for 102 metres and only 12 tackles.

I was wondering this too. He barely attacked the line like his usual self and was a lot more of a ball player last night

Sims has gone downhill so badly. Started the season well but has hardly any impact now.

Last game against the Knights was his best game in awhile. Ever since people started saying he could play Origin, he has lost his intensity for some unknown reason

Yeah, it's hard to blame Pearson, other than the embarrassing dropped ball. He looked like he was getting pretty frustrated being outside Moga.

Also remember his deflection in the in-goal. I thought he could've caught it quite easily and would've awarded us a 7 tackle set from the 20 but he chose to play it safe I guess...

Milford was rested for the last 15 minutes

The right call. We were up by so much at that point and don't want Milf to hurt his shoulder again.

His attempt at tackle for that last Dogs try was pretty trash.

Not sure if you're talking about Pearson or Moga, but I was more dissapointed in Moga for actually falling off his opposite on that one.

I loved that chip kick that Kodi defused early in the game. When they almost collided. It reminds me of one that KHunt took years back, that was one of the bravest I've seen.

I need to post this one seperately. What I love about this is that MILFORD went from one side to the other to play as a support player and it definitely paid off. If he can do this all game, we would have a lot more opportunities (and he'll probably lose a bit more of that weight everyone keeps talking about)

Can anyone explain why the Gillett knock on that was kicked dead ruled a 20m restart with 7 tackles?

watching Kodi's performance last night (and from what i remember about his performances in the 20's ... I think fullback is his position

One thing I admire about Moga is that when he makes a mistake he doesn't let it affect his game.

We won well on the score board but that's about it. That Dogs side is B A D. Macca showed he can run from half which we will definitely need but so many points came because of individual effort and so much ball. It's hard to line up that form against coming games but the Eels next week will be a step up. Handling semi will be a big task.

Sam looks really unfit which isn't that unusual for him but he just looks to have a bit more girth than usual.
It will be interesting to see who gets punted for Boyd

You mean A Current Advertisement or A Current TV Program Promotion.

Thaiday offers only entertainment value that's all. The huge dummy and asking the ref what's happening after a penalty was gold. Other than that he offers pure shit

I really liked Offa's involvement in the play.

Our slow starts are really a concern for me, its taking 20-30 minutes for us to get into games. We are conceding soft points early and then playing catch up, fortunately against weaker opposition we have been able to do it but it will kill us against the tops sides if we keep it up.

Because Kahu kicked the ball dead so the ref took the advantage and awarded a 20 metre tap. It was really Kahu that fucked up there. Refs do this all the time for players who do this.
