At first I was like yay, another kid who is bigger and faster than everyone else in his age group, big deal. Then I saw the highlight at 2.10ish and I was like, ok me likely a lot!

I get less and less excited about juniors coming through each year, especially after fifita.
If they don't live up to the hype (about 75% of them) then it's dissapointing, but if they turn out good there's an article every 2nd week about how they'll sign for another club, and if they turn out really good there's about a 50% chance they will just get paid massive overs and leave anyway.
Why bother? I know this is real negative but the salary yh cap means you're much better off to do what the roosters do and just wait till another club has helped with their development until they are 90% ready then come in and play a round of golf, and if they fail just sack them immediately then claim it frees up millions...
